Y/N's POV
Flashback
" Oh no not again." I said as we were turned into cards once again. There was then a knock on the door. " Open up! Where are they? Master Shadow Milk Cookie wants your little friends!" We heard Black Sapphire Cookie say from the other side of the door. He came in with an angry expression. " ...Here." Pure Vanilla, now known as the Truthless Recluse, said as he handed us over. " Pure Vanilla Cookie!" We all said. " Well well well! As much as I want to have my revenge, Master Shadow Milk Cookie ordered me to bring them alive." Black Sapphire said. We were then put away so we wouldn't run away again. We could barely hear anything from outside. all we knew was that it wasn't good. " Pure Vanilla Cookie! I know you can hear me! I know you would never feel that way about yourself! You are the kindest, friendliest, honest, and the most loyal cookie I know. There is no real truth! The truth is what you believe it to be! And I know that deep down, you believe in my words! You believe in yourself! You believe in us and in your friends! You believe in the Light of Truth! The real Light of Truth! So come back to us Pure Vanilla Cookie! I refuse to believe this....hollow shell is the cookie I fell in love with!" I said.
" Woah Y/N...." Strawberry Cookie said. " I don't think this was the right time for a love confession." Wizard Cookie said. From the outside of the card, I heard a small gasp from Pure Vanilla Cookie. But then I heard him walk away from Black Sapphire. " Witches....please let him come back to us. Please let Pure Vanilla Cookie find his own truth and please let him find his resolve." I prayed.
End of Flashback
A lot has happened since the Spire of Deceit. After Pure Vanilla handed his Soul Jam over to Shadow Milk Cookie, we were thrown out of the Spire. Thankfully, Fortune Teller Cookie saved us before we hit the ground. When we made our way back up to the top, we saw pure vanilla Cookie facing down Shadow Milk Cookie. He looked different. His robes weren't dark navy anymore. They were golden white. His hair was much longer and instead of an eye in his staff, there was a bright light. He was back. My Pure Vanilla Cookie was back. We helped him fight against Shadow Milk but instead of finishing him off, he offered him a hand of friendship. But Shadow Milk didn't take it. He ran with his minions. The tower began collapsing so we exited as quickly as possible. When we left, Pure Vanilla informed us that we may be able to find the Beast-Sealing ritual back in Crispia. So we headed back.
Pure Vanilla went back to the Vanilla Kingdom to get some rest while the rest of us went back to the Cookie Kingdom. However, I knew I had to talk to Pure Vanilla about everything that happened and.....everything I said. I travelled to the Vanilla Kingdom after resting up for a few days. " Why did I say that? The words just came out. Witches dammit." I said as I made my way to the castle. When I arrived, Black Raisin Cookie escorted me to his room. " He's getting ready for bed. You should probably make whatever you have to say quick. I don't think he's feeling better yet from his time in Beast-Yeast." She said. " What makes you say that?" I asked. "He's been distracted and a bit more anxious. And the other day i saw him talking to himself in front of his mirror. It seemed like he was practicing something." She said. " Weird." I said.
