Y/N's POV
" AAAHHHN! It hurts!" I screamed out as I gripped Caramel Arrow's hand tightly. " Keep pushing Y/N. You're almost done." One of the healers said. " I can't do this. It hurts so much." I said. " Y/N, I you can do this." Caramel said to reassure me. I let out another scream and gripped her hand tighter. I gave another push and an loud cry was heard throughout the room. I was able to relax now. " Congratulations Y/N. You have a beautiful baby boy." The healer said as they handed me my newborn son. I teared up and smiled at him. " He's beautiful." Caramel said. " Yeah. Only one problem." I said. " What is it?" She asked. I frowned. " He looks like his father. " I said. My name is Y/N Cookie. I'm a servant who serves the King of the Dark Cacao Kingdom: Dark Cacao Cookie himself. When I was a teenager, my village was destroyed and my parents were killed by monsters. Having nowhere to go, I went to the citadel looking for work. I tried a few places but no one would accept me. One day as I was walking the streets of the citadel, I saw someone struggling to carry some jellies and offered to help them. They accepted my help and we walked to their destination together. When we arrived, I realized we were at the castle. They were servants of Dark Cacao Cookie. After helping the servant carry the jellies, I plucked up the courage and asked them if they needed some more help.
I told them my story and they led me inside to see the King. I pleaded my case to him and he hired me as a servant. I received a room of my own in the castle, three meals a day, new clothes to wear, and a place to call home. I was happy again. However, things took a dark turn when Prince Dark Choco Cookie attacked his father. After that day, nothing has been the same. the King has hardened his heart even more. The cookies of the kingdom are beginning to suffer. How I ended up in this situation is a result from all of this. One night as I was heading back to my room, I heard a crash from Dark Cacao's room and went inside to find him drunk. He could never hold his own when it came to drinking. I'm guessing he remembered something about Dark Choco and was feeling really depressed about it. When I helped him back onto the bed, he grabbed me and wouldn't let go. He started crying into my chest, begging me not to leave him. This was the first time I've ever seen him vulnerable. One thing led to another and we ended up sleeping together. Since he was so drunk I had a feeling he wouldn't remember our night together. So I left before he woke up.
I never spoke about that night to anyone. However, I soon started feeling nauseous and tired all the time. It all came crashing down on me when I realized that my monthly cycle was late. I went to a healer who confirmed I was pregnant. I didn't tell anyone. i couldn't. if word got back to Dark Cacao, I wasn't sure how he was going to react. I did my best to keep my pregnancy a secret. The only one who found out was Caramel since she found me throwing up one day and thought I was sick. She's always been my closest friend so I ended up telling her everything. She promised to keep it a secret as well since she understood why I didn't want to tell Dark Cacao. My son let out a few whimpers and started to cry. I picked him up into my arms and started to rock him back and forth. " Shhh....it's okay. Mommy is here. Mommy is right here." I said. My son quieted down and stared at me with his big eyes. Caramel smiled but then looked at me with concern. " How are you going to hide him from His Majesty? I have a feeling you still aren't going to tell him." She said.
