Y/N's POV

" And....go!" The commander said as he began the sparring match. I charged at Caramel Arrow, unsheathing my blades. She took a few shots at me using her bow and they counter attacked by going in for a more close range attack. I managed to dodge in time but it made me realize how much stronger and more capable she was. But that wasn't going to stop me. " Take this!" I said as I took a swing at her with my sword. She dodged with ease. " Ha! You were so distracted on what's in front of you that you didn't see what was behind you." She said. " What?" I asked. Suddenly, three arrows flew in from behind me and knocked me to the ground. She then pinned me. The commander gave the signal that the match was over. I sighed and Caramel helped me up. " Dammit. I almost had you." I said. " Haha. Honestly I was scared for a few minutes. But thankfully you didn't notice that I was shooting the arrows around you and not at you." She said. " Well that's why you became the youngest first watcher." I said. She smiled. My name is Y/N. I'm a soldier in the Dark Cacao Kingdom. I've been in the army for about seven years and have developed a close bond with Caramel Arrow: The First Watcher. Sometimes I'll ask the commander to let me spar with her. But she always beats me. 

I think it also helped that she used to train with the prince when she was younger and before.....everything happened. His majesty the King has become even more distant than usual following the incident with the prince and the kingdom is going through a rough patch. The monsters have gotten stronger and the number of wounded have increased. Everyone is worried. " Hey have you seen that new advisor hanging around the king? Something....gato? Was if Fishgato? Fish is sticking in my mind for some reason." I said. " You mean Affogato?" Caramel asked. " Right him. I'm not sure why I thought his name was Fishgato." I said with a small laugh. 
" Well he is a little fishy. I don't trust him. There's something...off about him and I'm not sure what." She said. " I agree. I only remember the names of people who are my friends or enemies. And since him and I aren't friends...." I said. " I'll keep an eye on him when I can. He cannot get closer to the king." She said. i nodded in agreement. I then looked at a nearby clock. " Oh shit. I have to get going. My patrol is starting soon." I said. " Okay. Be careful. I heard there was a blizzard coming in." She said. " Don't worry. I'll be back before then." I said. I grabbed my coat and some supplies and ran out into the snowstorm. 

I patrolled around the outside of the wall for a bit." One day I'll be guarding the wall." I said. A sudden gust of wind cut me off. " The storm is picking up. I should probably get back inside." I said. I then felt another presence approaching behind me. I quickly unsheathed my sword and spun around to face the person. A loud clash of metal was heard as my sword collided with the other person's weapon. I then realized who it was. It was Dark Cacao. " Majesty?" I asked. I quickly pulled away my sword and bowed. " My apologies for swinging at you. If I knew it was you, I wouldn't have swung in the first place." I said. " It's alright. It was an accident. But what are you doing out here so far from the wall?" He asked. " This is my normal patrol route. What are you doing out here without any guards Your Majesty?" I asked. " Affogato told me that an intruder was spotted and that they seemed strong. Figuring it was an enemy, I decided to check it out myself. as for the lack of guards, I didn't want my presence to be noticed." He said. " There is no intruder Your majesty. Affogato must've been mistaken. If there was an intruder, I would've dealt with them." I said. I wondered why Affogato would say that. " Why would Affogato say that? Was he mistaken or-" I was knocked out of my thoughts when an arrow landed in between us.
