Black Sapphire's POV

" Black Sapphire Cookie! Is everything set up? I want our guests to have a wonderful time here." Master Shadow Milk Cookie said. But I was too lost in thought to realize he was talking to me.
" Hello? Earthbread to Black Sapphire Cookie. Are you in there?" Master Shadow Milk Cookie said. I blinked a few times and looked at him. " Huh? Oh yes right. Sorry Master Shadow Milk." I said. " What's with you. Lately you've been staring off into the abyss. I mean, I don't mind it but I would like my minions to listen to me." He said. " Sorry I've just had....a lot on my mind lately." I said as I turned my head away from him. " Hmmm....I get it. You're excited that we'll soon have Pure vanilla Cookie as a part of our team. I am do the feeling is mutual. But we need to make sure he falls for every single trick we've set up. And that's your job remember?" He said.

" Of course. I'll see to it that everything is in place for his arrival." I said. " Great. Now run along and make sure Candy Apple Cookie is playing her part well." He said. I nodded and walked away. But instead of going to check on how Candy Apple Cookie was doing, I went straight to the library. Once inside, I closed the door and locked it so I wouldn't be disturbed or discovered. After making sure I was alone, I pulled out the old, tattered book that belonged to the mysterious Y/N. After coming into possession of the book, I began having strange dreams. Well, more like memories. I would see myself constantly with different versions of the same person. Sometimes they were male, other times female, and other times neither gender.

They always had a sad look in their eyes but I could never tell why. But despite the sad look in their eyes, I always remembered a warm smile. " May we meet again, beneath the sun's rays." I said as I held the book close to my heart. Those words, along with that warm smile remained in my memory. I was certain I knew this Y/N and that we had a strong connection between us. I needed to find them and I knew this diary would have the answer. Every night I read an entry and learned more about " my past" with this mysterious Y/N. We were close. We were in love. And I hate that I forgot about it all. " Y/N...." I said. I opened up the diary to where I left off reading.

" Day 212. After sneaking my way into the Faerie kingdom, I was able to peruse their library and find out more about the Ritual of Rebirth. I took the books explaining the ritual back to the Spire and hid them in the library. Since I hid them so well, I should probably write down where they are. But if someone were to find this diary and find out what I'm doing, I'd be crumbled in an instant. There are only three books out of the vastness of the Faerie Library that held the knowledge about the ritual and I took all three back. The first one is hidden when the colors blend together. The second is hidden in my eyes. And the third is hidden where a bit of respite is needed." The entry read.

" The first is hidden where the colors blend together.....a painting." I said. I walked around and saw a painting hanging on the wall near one of the shelves. I carefully took it off of the wall and found a secret compartment hidden behind it. I opened it and found an old book. " This must be it. Now what did they mean by the second is hidden in their eyes?" I said. I thought about it for a moment and looked around. " It has to be a metaphor. They said they hid all of the books here so it's not a literal meaning." I said. I looked down at the floor and noticed my reflection. " The only way to see your own eyes is through a reflection or photograph. And since Y/N didn't mention anything about a camera in their entries, they must've meant a reflection." I said. I kept my eyes glued to the floor as I walked around until I found a spot with a small mark in it. The mark was one I've seen before in Y/N's diary entries. " This floor tile doesn't move. it can't be hidden underneath it. So where could it be?" I thought to myself.
