A/N: Gonna be a long one
Y/N's POV
" Three fifty one three fifty two, three fifty three...." I said as I did pull ups. As i was working out, I heard one of the devices beeping. " Ugh, what now?" I asked out of frustration. I went back to the ground and headed over to the communication device. opened it up and read the message. " Y/N, report to docking bay seven. New weapons have arrived for elites." The message, which was translated, said. " Finally some new gear." i said. I changed out of my workout clothes and took a transport to the landing bay. My name is Y/N L/N and I'm the first human who has ever lived as an elite warrior amongst the race known as Yautja. A bit of backstory is needed. A long, long time ago I lived on earth in Gunnison, Colorado. Back in the year 2004, some of the Kainde Amedha infiltrated the town. I was sixteen when it happened. I lost my parents during the attack and while I was fleeing from some of them, I encountered a Yautja known as Wolf. I saw him kill five of them with ease and knew that i would survive if I was with him. He was highly annoyed at some random human girl following him around but decided to let me tag along when he saw me kill three of the Kainde with one of his weapons when he dropped it. Once we arrived at the hospital together, Wolf sent me off towards the forest to hunt any Kainde that was in there while he took on the main strain at the hospital. I was surprise he trusted me like this but I believe he saw in me what I couldn't see in myself. As I hunted the remaining Kainde, I saw a military plane fly over and knew that it was mostly likely carrying a bomb. I knew I had to get away from the area so I ran through the forest as fast as i could. The bomb ended up going off and I was lucky enough to fall into a nearby lake. When i fell into the lake, the weapon I get from Wolf activated and I saw something in the water glowing. As I swam to it I noticed it was a small space pod. It must've been the one Wolf came in. When I got closer, it opened up and I climbed inside of it for protection. Thankfully, it had sensors that detected the water and put up a shield to protect the inside that I could climb through. Once I climbed inside, it immediately activated and took off. I wasn't sure where it was taking me but I had nothing and no one back on Earth so I didn't mind. Wherever it was going must've been far away since the pod activated activated a stasis setting and I was put into hypersleep.
When I woke up, I was surrounded by more of Wolf's kind. They were skeptical of me but after watching the record of Wolf's hunt, they saw how much he trusted me. I also found out that Wolf was some big shot and since I hunted with him, I was considered to be his apprentice. Because of this fact, I was allowed to stay and receive some basic training. I had a feeling that they were just doing this to get a laugh but I surprised all of them. I passed basic training with flying colors and killed three of the Kainde on my first official hunt. After becoming blooded, I decided to test myself and went on many dangerous hunts that even veteran hunters didn't partake in. After about a year or so, i was allowed to take the trials to become an elite like Wolf and I passed all of them. Despite being a human, I received a lot of respect since I was now an elite. I was also allowed to claim Wolf's former residence as my own and have been living there ever since. While I still get weird look from time to time, most of the Yautja have gotten used to me. usually it's the youngbloods or unblooded that always give me a hard time. Some of them don't even know I'm an elite until I kick their ass in a sparring match. As for the language barrier, I've been able to understand some things but i mostly use these earpieces that are actually translators. My lifespan has also been increased which is how I was able to live for so long. I'm not sure how they managed that but I'm grateful for it. As I neared the landing bay, I looked out the window and saw a lot of ships returning. " Oh yeah, this is around the time of year that initiation hunts take place. The newly blooded are always so adorable when trying to impress females." I said to myself. I soon arrived at the landed bay and went over to pick up my gear.
