Toji's POV
" I'm sorry. But you're paying me to do what?" I asked my client in disbelief. " Like i said, I need you to look after my daughter until I find a permanent replacement for her bodyguard." My client said. " Tch but why ask me? Aren't you one of the most renown yakuza? Don't you have grunts to do work like this?" I asked in annoyance. " Of course i do but I don't trust any of them with my daughter. I heard a lot of interesting things about you from my sources and felt that you were the best fit for the job." My client said.
I rolled my eyes. " Find someone else you old bastard." I said as I turned to walk away. " You said you needed the money right?" He asked. I stopped and turned back towards him. " I'll give you triple no- quadruple the amount we originally agreed on." He said. I smirked. This old bastard was already offering enough money but the more I squeeze out of him the better. " Alright you old windbag. You've got yourself a deal." I said. The next day I went back to the estate to meet this old bastard's daughter. When I originally got word that one of the biggest names in the yakuza wanted to meet with me, I assumed it was an assassination mission. But instead he wants me to guard his daughter.
Normally i wouldn't take up a job like this but he did offer me quadruple the amount we originally agreed on. That was enough to get me to stay. Plus i am considering leaving my Zen'in Clan so I need the money to get a place to stay. " My daughter is with her boyfriend right now. Her boyfriend is the child of another crime boss in this area that I'm on good terms with. Do not disrespect him." My client said. " Yeah sure. Whatever." I said. I followed him to a huge living room where I saw my client's daughter and her boyfriend. They were both sitting on the couch acting like an annoying cliche couple. " Y/N. Can I have a moment of your time?" My client asked. The girl and her boyfriend turned towards us.
" Y/N, this is Toji. He will serve as your bodyguard until I find a permanent replacement." My client said. The girl rolled her eyes. " daddy I told you that i don't need a bodyguard. I'm fine on my own." She said. " And I keep telling you that this isn't your decision. Now be good and accept my decision." My client said. Y/N sighed. " Whatever." She said. I was already getting a headache. " She's going to be a pain in my ass." I thought to myself. " Just guard her and make sure she doesn't get into trouble." My client said. I nodded and he left the room. I stood against the wall as I watched Y/N and her boyfriend.
As I watched the interaction, I noticed that Y/N's boyfriend was extremely handsy with her. When she tried moving away he would grab her and pull her back towards him. I wasn't sure if i should intervene so I kept observing. Hours passed until night eventually fell. " It's getting late and I want to get ready for bed." Y/N said, giving a hint that she wanted her boyfriend to leave. Her boyfriend pouted as she got up. But he immediately pulled her back down and started touching her. " hey enough. I said I wanted to get ready for bed." She said. " Awww....can't I stay just a little longer?" He asked. His hands started traveling up her shirt and I saw Y/N looking uncomfortable. " W-Well um....." Y/n started to say. But I came over and place my hand on his shoulder with a firm grip.
