Thoma's POV
" Ugh, no you idiots! I said I wanted to wear the gold dress not the green dress. How did you guys mix that up?!" I heard Lady Y/N say to her maids as I walked down the hallway. " Looks like she's in one of her moods again. Maybe I can make her some mochi to cheer her up." I said with a smile. " You know that never works Thoma. She either knocks the plate away or throw them at you. I still can't get the image out of my head of you acting like a dog and eating it up off of the floor." one of the other servants said. " Haha, yeah. I remember that too." I said. For those of you who don't know, my name is Thoma. I was originally born in the kingdom of Mondstadt but came to the Kingdom of Inazuma a few years ago. I was born into a family of servants that was in servitude under rulers of Mondstadt. When I was a small boy, my father was given to the Kingdom of Inazuma as a servant. I had to pick up his work. Sure it was tough but I always did my work with a smile. One day some visiting royals came from Inazuma and decided to buy me from the royals of Mondstadt. Those royals were members of the Kamisato family. While Inazuma does have a main ruler, it also has sub-rulers. One of those sub-rulers is the Kamisato family. I was brought over to Inazuma and introduced to my new masters. I would mostly be in service to the young heirs. The oldest was Ayato. He's calm, collected, intelligent, calculated, a bit cunning, but overall a nice person. The middle child was Ayaka. She's graceful, intelligent, polite, determined, and another nice person in the Kamisato clan. The youngest child was Y/N. She's......a bit of a character. I never see her in a good mood but I always try to make her smile, even when she's rude to me. I won't get into everything she does but she likes to punish us for the littlest of transgressions. She always has to be stopped by Lord Ayato before she goes too far.
I feel as if there's something else that's making her act this way but it isn't my place to ask. I feel as if her behavior got worse after the deaths of bother the King and Queen. When Lady Y/N was just three years old, the King passed away due to an illness. A few months later, the Queen passed away due to the same illness. Lord Ayato, despite being a child, took up the mantle as the Crown Prince and governed the Kingdom to the best of his abilities. And now he's finally become of age to be coronated as King. Currently everyone is getting ready for the ball that will be held here tonight to honor Lord Ayato's ascension. The actual ceremony is in a few hours. " There. I think that this centerpiece will look nice." I said as I finished placing some flowers onto the centerpiece design. " Thoma! I need your help!" I heard someone say. I recognized the voice as one of Y/N's maids. " What's wrong?" I asked. " Y/N's dress has a rip in it. She won't admit it's HER fault but SHE was moving around too much and caused it to rip." The maid said. " Oh dear. Let me grab my sewing stuff and I'll meet you in Y/N's room." I said. The maid nodded and we both headed off in separate directions. Once I grabbed my sewing kit from my room, i headed over to Y/N's room to find it in shambles. She threw another tantrum. " Finally, you're here! Hurry and patch this up so I can head downstairs!" She said. " Yes, my Lady." I said. I saw the tear in her dress was near the skirt. " Could you all back up so I can have enough lighting?" I asked the other maids politely. " Sure outsider." One said in a sarcastic tone. They all stepped back. " Thank you." I said with a smile. Some of them rolled their eyes. I knelt down next to Y/N and started sewing up the tear." How can you smile when they call you an outsider?" I heard her say.
