Y/N's POV
Flashback
" Alright. Ready or not, here I come." I said as I turned away from the tree I was facing.I looked around but didn't see anyone. " I'm going to find you all." I said. I ran around the village looking for my friends. " Hmm...maybe they're in here. Nope. Over here? Nope." I said as I checked a few places. I continued looking around the village, determined not to lose our game of hide-and-seek. After all, I was the hide-and-seek champion. " Where could they be? You guys better not be cheating." I said aloud. I let out a growl of annoyance since I couldn't find anyone. But then I saw someone poking their head out from behind the wall of a house and looking at me. I quietly snuck over. " Found you." I said. But when i got a better look at the cookie that I had found, I realized it wasn't one of my friends.
It was a cookie that I had never seen before. He had black hair with a single white streak in it. His eyes were bright red and he wore clothes that were befitting of a noble. He was about my age too. " Hi. My name is Y/N. What's your name?" I asked. the cookie. " D-Dark Choco Cookie." He said. That name sounded familiar but I couldn't remember where I heard it from. " Do you want to play with us? We're playing hide-and-seek." I said. " O-Oh! I um...." He started saying. I smiled and grabbed his hand. " Come on. You can help me look for my friends." I said. I started pulling him away from where he was. He gazed up at me with wide eyes but smiled. We then spent the next hour looking for my friends that were hiding. Thankfully, we managed to find them all. It was then time for us to head home for dinner.
" That was fun. Do you want to play again tomorrow?" I asked. " I'm not sure if I can." He said. " Hm? Why not?" I asked. But before he could speak, a watcher came over to him. " Young prince. There you are. We've been looking all over for you." The watcher said. " Prince?" I thought to myself. " Sorry. I was just playing with my new friend." He said. " Well next time let us know. Don't wander off." The watcher said. " Sorry." He said. The watcher side and motioned for him to follow. " It was nice meeting you Y/N." Choco said as he headed off with the watcher. I waved goodbye and headed back home where my grandma was making dinner.
When I walked inside, I took off my coat and shoes and headed over to the dinner table. " How was your day Y/N? Did you and your friends play any new games?" My grandma asked as she gave me some food. " It was amazing. We played hide-and-seek all day. I ended up winning obviously with the help of my new friend." I said. " New friend?" She asked. I nodded. " Yeah. His name is Dark Choco Cookie. He helped me find everyone but he had to leave when a watcher came to get him. The watcher also called him young prince for some reason." I said. My grandma almost choked on her food. " You played with the prince?" She said. " Is he like....an actual prince?" I asked. " Y/N, Dark Choco Cookie is the son of the King.." She said. " So I was playing with an actual prince?!" I said. She nodded. I thought about it for a moment. " That doesn't matter. He's my friend prince or not." I said. My grandma smiled. " I wonder if I'll ever see him again." I thought to myself.
