A/N: This takes place in the TOTK timeline. I'd do Twilight Princess but it's been a while since I did anything with that game so I forgot most of the main story. This is an AU where Rauru didn't stop him and he killed all of the sages and took over Hyrule. While the monsters basically roam the lands, he has kept some people alive.

Y/N's POV

" Okay. The hallway floors have been washed, the windows have been cleaned, and the paintings of the former king and queen have sadly been taken down to be destroyed." I said as I looked around the empty hallway. It's been five years since Ganandorf killed Queen Sonia, King Rauru and the rest of the sages and took over all of Hyrule. He killed most of the residents but kept some alive. Most of the ones who were kept alive formed a sort of resistance. but they're no match for Ganandorf. Honestly I think he knew that they'd form a resistance and try to take him down. He always smiles when executing those he captured. He sees this as some sick form of entertainment.

There are still some servants working in the castle but Ganandorf executes at least one a day for no reason. Thankfully I'm still alive after these five years. I've been working as a servant for Ganandorf since I was originally a servant for the late king and queen. He rarely calls on me which I am grateful for but since he's been killing more and more servants, I fear that he'll be calling on me more often from now on. " Okay. Next on the list is to prepare dinner." I said to myself. I made my way to the kitchen. When I arrived, I grabbed the ingredients and started preparing Ganandorf's meal.

" Y/N, you don't have to do that?" I heard someone say. I turned to see another servant. " What do you mean? I'm on dinner duty today." I said. " Don't worry about it. I can take over. Why don't you go and have a break?" They said. " Oh...thank you." I said. I handed them the ingredients and headed out of the kitchen. I decided to head to the gardens to take my break. Ganandorf thankfully still kept them intact. " Wow....silent princesses." I said as I crouched down to look at the flowers. I gently touched the petals. " At least you survived these five years of hell." I said.
" What are you doing out here?" I heard someone say. I quickly turned around to see Ganandorf.
" M-Master Ganandorf. I can explain." I said. " This should be good." He said crossing his arms.

" I-I was told i could have a b-break." I said. " By who? I gave no such order." He said as he walked over to me. " But that servant told me that I could take a break." I said. Ganandorf picked me up by the collar of my shirt and lifted me off the ground. I felt my body shaking in fear. " And you thought to trust the word of some lowly servant? You should've asked me directly." He said.
" I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have assumed I was off dinner duty." I said. " Dinner duty you say? This keeps getting more interesting." He said with a smirk. He threw me to the ground. " Get up. You'll be joining me for dinner." He said. He turned his back to me and motioned for me to follow him inside. I immediately got up and followed him inside. I was still shaking and my heart was pounding like crazy.

" He wants me to join him for dinner? Why?" I thought to myself. We arrived at the dining room and he took his seat at the head of the table. " Sit. Now." He said sternly. I slowly walked over to the chair next to him and sat down. I kept my head down as sweat started dripping down my face. Soon enough the servant that told me I had a break came in holding his meal. They looked shocked to see me with him. I looked up at him to notice him smirking but quickly averted my gaze. " L-Lord Ganandorf, I didn't think you'd have a servant sharing the same table as you. I would've prepared her a meal as well." The servant from before said. " It's fine. Now, I want to ask you a question. Did you tell her that she could have a break and took over dinner duty?" He asked. " Y-Yes i did." They said. " Is there a specific reason why?" He asked. " I just thought she needed a break." They said. " I see." He said.
