Dark Cacao's POV
Flashback
" Majesty....I'm sorry. But it looks like this is the end for me." Y/N said as I stood there helplessly watching her turn into flour. The brave Dark Cacao warriors, Crunchy Chip Cookie, Caramel Arrow Cookie, and now Y/N were turning to flour before my very eyes. " Y/N....no. Not you too." I said. " I'm sorry I couldn't stay with you until the end." She said with a sad smile and tears in her eyes. " No...please..." I said. She sighed in relief. " I can pass on and my name will be written on the Altar of the Fallen. I'm glad to know that I lived without regrets." She said. She seemed at peace in this moment. But this was all because of Mystic Flour. I was about to lose her because of Mystic Flour Cookie. " No....that's a lie. I have but one regret. My one regret....is never telling you how I truly felt. I guess it's too late for that now." She said. Her body started disappearing. " Y/N!" I screamed out as I reached towards her. " Majesty.....see you tomorrow...." She said with a smile. Her body then turned to flour and she disappeared in the wind. " Y/N!" I screamed.
End of Flashback
I opened my eyes and quickly sat up in my bed. My breath was erratic and my body was sweaty. My arm was outreached as if trying to reach something. Once I calmed down, I lowered my head and gripped my chest tightly. " A nightmare. Another nightmare. Dammit." I said as I shook my head. I got up from my bed and grabbed my cloak. I put it on and went outside for a walk to clear my head. The night was silent and the snow was falling peacefully. The Kingdom was asleep but it's King was awake, plagued by nightmares. Ever since returning from Beast-Yeast a few days ago, my dreams have been plagued by terrible a nightmare. Each night, I relive the moment when my comrades turned to flour right before my eyes. I was powerless to stop it from happening. My Dark Cacao warriors, Crunchy Chip Cookie, Caramel Arrow Cookie, and.....Y/N. I sighed when I thought of Y/N. The kindest, noblest, and most loyal cookie in my entire army. No matter what was going on in the Kingdom, she would always have a smile on her face. She supported me when no one else did and stayed by my side during everything that has happened since the time she first became a Watcher. But I was powerless to stop her from turning to flour and watched her disappear before my very eyes.
Out of all of the cookies I saw disappear that day, Y/N's was the one I remembered the most. I remembered it so strongly that it occupied my dreams at night, causing my nightmares. I sighed in frustration as I continued my walk. As I passed by the training area, I heard some footsteps walking towards me. I stopped and went on high alert. However, to my surprise i saw Y/N coming from the training area. " Y/N?" I asked. " Majesty? What are you doing up at this hour?" She asked. " I could ask you the same thing." I said. " I was training Your Majesty." She said. " Training? At this hour" I asked. " After our adventure in the land of Beast-Yeast, I realized that I wasn't as strong as I thought I was. I failed to protect my friends, my comrades, and even you. I'm wasn't going to let that happen again so I started training whenever I could. However, it seems I've lost track of time. Anyways, it's your turn. Why are you awake? Shouldn't you be resting? You need to regain your strength after everything that happened in Beast-Yeast." She said. I sighed. " I had trouble sleeping. That's all." I said, keeping it short and simple. I wasn't going to tell her about the nightmare.
