Black Sapphire's POV

I placed a hand over my heart as I began tearing up. " After all these years, all of these countless "meetings", we are finally together again." I said. They smiled. " I always knew that if someone were to do the ritual again, it'd be you. We'd always get into all sorts of mischief together. However, I wish you didn't end up following me this one time." They said sadly as they walked passed me and stopped in front of the fountain. I walked behind them and wrapped my arms around their waist. " You know that no matter how much you try to keep me away, I'd always find my way back to you." I said. They turned their head towards me and i captured their lips in a passionate kiss. " Where exactly are we?" I asked. " We are in the space that borders life and death. However, we couldn't pass to the other side of the sea of stars since the ritual was preformed." they said. " Ah." I said. 

" What are you doing here Saphi?" They asked. " I've come to free you from this Curse of Nihility." I said. They looked at me in shock. " That's why you did this ritual?" They asked. I nodded. " How do you expect me to go on with my life when I'm not with the cookie I love?" I asked. " Idiot." They said. " Your idiot." I said. " Saphi, this ritual takes a toll on you. The Curse of Nihility isn't one to take lightly. You know what will happen to you in the end." They said. " I know. But all of it is worth it for you." I said. They smiled. " To be honest, I wish I had never done this ritual to begin with. I did this ritual so I could atone for my past. I thought that if I did this, I'd be able to fully erase deceit and lies from this world, thus redeeming myself and making up for my mistakes. What a naive fool I was." They said. " Elsi...." I said. 

" Just like breathing, lying is natural for cookies. Sometimes lying is used to make people feel more confident in themselves but other times it's used to wreck nations, topple order, and take down leaders. During my time here, I learned that despite how hard I try, lies will never fully be erased from this world. Even if the Cookie of Deceit disappears, lies won't." They said. They sighed and looked up at the stars. " That's when I decided to change my goal. Instead of erasing deceit from this world, I would work on minimizing it." They said. " Minimizing it? How would you do that?" I asked. " By being a guiding light to those seeking the truth of this world." They said.

My eyes widened in shock. " So.....that means...." I said, " Yes." They said. " You're the Light of Truth." I said. They smiled. " This you....the real you has been living inside of the Soul Jam this entire time?"I asked. " Yes. I've been so close to you, yet so far." They said. Does that mean that the other voices inside of the Soul Jams are like you? Cookies who wished to redo their actions of the past?" I asked. They nodded. " Yes.The voices inside each Soul Jam were living, breathing Cookies once. But like me, they wished to atone for their past and preformed the ritual thinking it would help them." I said. " So more Cookies are under the effect of the Nihility. Dammit." I said. They nodded. " But thankfully, I believe I have found a way to set us free and reform our ture selves." They said.

" You have?" I asked. They nodded. " At first I wasn't sure if it was even possible. But when the Soul Jams of light were shattered during the Ancient Cookies' fight with Dark Enchantress Cookie, those vestiges of memories.....those fragments of my former self scattered throughout the world living "their life" over and over again as new cookies with each cycle." They said. 
" Why wasn't the real you set free and my memories of you returned? Why do I just have flashes and you're stuck here?" I asked. " That's because the Soul Jams weren't whole. If the Soul Jams of Truth and Deceit, Resolution and Apathy, Freedom and Silence, Abundance and Destruction, and Passion and Sloth are reformed and broken buy the fragments of the voices that wander Earthbread, the fragments will combine once again with the rest of our selves that are still trapped inside of the Soul Jams and our true selves will be reformed. We will also be free from the Nihility's grasp forever." They said.
