Chapter Nine: Big Things

JACK P.O.V

"Johnson text me to come over he said it was urgent" I said to Kate as she sat on the floor doing some weird stretches.

"I hope everything is okay" she barley spoke I don't know what she's doing but these stretches are getting weirder by the second.

"Can you even breath?" I asked her face is turning red.

"For the most part" she said switching positions.

"Oh my god, what are you doing?" she had one foot in the air while putting the other behind her head. Damn I never knew my girl was so flexible.

" I read online if you stretch throughout your pregnancy labor will be easier"

"Why are you reading stuff online?, I thought we said that wasn't a good Idea?"

"I thought you were suppose to be at Johnson's not interrogating me" she snapped back laughing.

"Alright then" I raised my hands in defense "I'll be back in a while" I said leaning down to kiss her goodbye.

I got in my car and drove to Johnson's, I wonder what could be so urgent that I had to go over there right away. I tried to call Sammy to see if he knew and all he said what skate and him were on their way to his house as well. He must have texted us all the same thing. I pulled into his driveway the same time the other guys did. We walked in together to see Johnson pacing back and fourth in excitement.

"Dude you okay?" I asked as we all sat down.

"Better then okay!" He laughed "you know the vine we made last week?" He asked me.

"Yea" I dragged off.

"Then The one we made with you guys a few days later" he said looking to Sammy and skate.

"Yea we remember.. What's going on?" Sammy said.

"They have over 150,000 views" Johnson said and we all laughed in excitement.

"holy shit are you kidding me that's awesome!" Skate said jumping up and down.

"There's more!" He laughed "I got a call from this dude in LA he wants to fly us down there tomorrow! He thought we were funny and could make something of ourselves. Plus Jack they love how you sing and my rapping they think we could possibly be a music duo.. You guys are down to go tomorrow right?"

"We are!" Sammy and Skate said in sync.

"I don't know if I can, Kate has this thing with her parents and I-"

"Dude talk to Kate she will understand! Do something for yourself for one" Sammy said cutting me off.

"I'll go talk to her" I said standing up "I'll let you know what she says"

"Let me know right away" Johnson said as I left the house.

I got into my car to drive home leaving me with my thoughts. LA I can't believe they want to fly us out there, and the fact we have only posted a dozen vines and they have that many likes it's incredible. I really hope Kate understand and won't mind if I go, this is a big opportunity for me hell for both of us. If things go good I would be able to spoil her and the baby.

"Can I talk to you?" I said as I walked into the kitchen where Kate was having lunch.

"Yes but first" she smiled at me "I just got off the phone with the school, my grades have improved I am officially the class valedictorian!"

"Congrats baby!" I said running up to hug her "I'm so proud of you" I kissed her and set her back down.

"I couldn't have done it without you" she smiled "so what's up?"

"You know how me and the boys have been posting vines?" She nodded her head yes "well I guess a lot of people have viewed them, they want us to go to LA they even offered me and Johnson a music deal.. Well kinda, nothing's official yet" Kate stood up and kissed me.

"That's great baby!"

"They want us to go out there tomorrow.. I know that we have that thing for you sister but this is a re-"

"Jack" she cut me off "baby go, don't worry about me I'll be fine. I'll have your mom with me" she laughed "how long will you be gone for?"

"Just three days! Are you sure your okay with this?"

"More then okay" she smiled that beautiful smile that I love so much.

I called Johnson and told him I was in, you could hear his excitement from a mile away. I'm happy Kate was okay with everything. I really got lucky with her. Hopefully all works out so I can financially support her and the baby for years to come, this could mean bigs for us, all of us.
