"Love or Family" is finished for now. Writing this story has been such a fun—and at times challenging—journey. I'm truly grateful to everyone who's been here from the beginning and to those who stuck with it all the way through. Thank you so much for your support.
Now that Love or Family is complete—at least until Fast X: Part 2 and Hobbs & Shaw 2 and Hobbs and Hobbs & Reyes come out (because let's be real, I'm pretty sure Deckard will show up in those)—I'll be taking a break from this story and writing Fast & Furious stories.
Since Isabella's story is done for now, I'm going to shift my focus to my other works.
Hopefully, this Q&A will help clear things up:
How long is the break, and when will you be back to writing Fast & Furious? Be honest.
Honestly, I don't know. I've been writing mostly Fast & Furious for a long time, and I need a break. I want to focus on other stories, and to be truthful, I'm feeling a little burnt out from this one fandom.
What's next for you, writing-wise?
I'm hoping to get back to my other stories—I've left those untouched for way too long. Maybe even dive into my other stories
What's your update schedule going to look like moving forward?
I'm not sure yet. I am now done with school, and I'm planning to get a job soon, but that is tbd. After that, it depends on how busy life gets.
Do you use AI?
Yes, I do. I have dyslexia, and while I can write and spell fairly well, I sometimes need help with fight scenes and certain dialogue. AI helps me with that. I'm aware of the potential risks of AI, but for me, it's a helpful tool that supports my writing. I go throw and fix anything that I wish to keep in.
Are you planning any more Deckard Shaw stories?
Yes, I am! I have three story ideas in mind, but they won't be out for a while. Right now, my writing process is a bit different—I'm drafting a few chapters first, then going back to edit and see if I like how the story is shaping up. This goes for all my stories at the moment. I want to make sure everything feels right before sharing it with readers.
When Fast X Part 2 comes out, or Hobbs and Reyes, if that includes Deckard, will you update?
Yes, 100% I will, I have an idea of what I will do if that happeneds, Deckard is both films or just Fast X part 2. Also, Isabella has no idea that her twin brother is gone, Jakob died in Fast X, so I want to have Dante just taunting her about her brother's death and maybe holding her children.
