Evelyn's POV

"Who is Evelyn? How did I end up being at her place? seeing that Theodore and Evelyn had a real connection, and I look like her, it's clear that she is a real person. It's not some fake identity given to me. If Evelyn is real, then where is she? "

My brain is full of questions, and I can get answers to these questions from my parents only.

"Sana, I want to go to Boston and meet my parents." I told her.

"Evelyn, I can't let you go on your own. You are not well." She declined.

"You know that I'm not Evelyn, you still consider me, friend?" I asked.

"I know that you are Bella, but the person I became friend with was you. Three years back, when we met for the first time, no matter what your identity was but it was you . You will always be my friend, whether as Bella or Evelyn. " She hugged me.

"Sana, I am so lucky to have a friend like you."

"Okay, now done with all the emotional scene. We need to meet your parents and find out the reality. " Sana said.

Drive to Boston was an emotional rollercoaster for me. Everything has changed. My life is completely different from what it was yesterday. The name and identity that I thought was mine, it was all fake. My parents are not mine. I am back in my old life where I was an orphan, a loner. I only had Sebastien as a family, and now even he is gone.

"Don't think too much Eve, you will get wrinkles because of too much stress. I don't want my friend to look like a grandma." Sana teased me.

"Sana, I was going to start a new chapter with Sebastien but never expected to be a part of a story which almost ended 4 years ago. " I said.

She squeezed my hand in assurance,

"4 years back, the story ended at a bad chapter, so this is your chance to make it better." She smiled.

"I hope that too."

When we reached home, mom and dad came and hugged.

"My baby, I'm so glad that you finally woke up. I was so worried. " Mom was crying.

"Mom, don't cry. I'm fine now . Everything is alright. " I wiped her tears.

"Evelyn, we want you to come back home. Your life is in threat. We want you to stay away from Theodore. " Dad said.

"Dad, I have some questions. I hope both of you will answer it, honestly. " I said.

"What is it?" Mom asked.

"Who is Evelyn?" I asked.

"What are you saying, baby? Obviously, you are Evelyn, my sweet daughter. " Mom pinched my cheeks.

"I have remembered everything, I'm not Evelyn. I'm Bella Lewis, 4 years back, Emily tried to kill me. She pushed me from the cruise ship. " I said.

Mom and dad both gasped with shock.

"We never knew who you were when we found you that night. You got caught in fisherman's net. They brought you on the sea shore. You were severely wounded, but no one had an idea who you were. Me and Ravenna were at that beach. We saw you with those fishermen. You were critical, so we brought you to the hospital. Your face was disfigured, so you had to go through surgery. " Dad said.

"But whose face is this? Whose is real Evelyn?" Sana asked.

"Yes, tell me who she is? Why does that guy Theodore want to kill me." I asked.

"Evelyn was our real daughter." Mom said.

"What? Where is she now?" I asked.

"Far away." Dad said with tears.

" Tell me clearly, dad."

" Evelyn was our daughter, and she died 4 years back. At that night we were at that beach because I promised my daughter to bring her on the beach on her birthday but she died before that. Ravenna and I went their to keep our words. Then we found you there, gave you her identity. It felt like we got our Evelyn back. But now you know the truth, you would leave us and we will be alone." Dad said with tears.

"No, never. I was an orphan, didn't have any family until you guys came to my life. No matter if I remember my identity, you would always be my parents, and I'll be your Evelyn. We are a family, and I will never leave you." I hugged them both.

"How did Evelyn die?" Sana asked.

"She didn't die. She was murdered." Mom cried harder.

"Who did this, mom?" I asked.

"That psychopath Theodore killed our daughter. She exposed his real face to everyone, and he killed her. That's why we shifted after you recovered after the surgery. We wanted to keep him away from you as he might have harmed you like he hurt my Evelyn. After seeing you, he must have thought that Evelyn must have survived, so he tried to kill you again. " Mom replied.

"That guy is such a cruel psychopath. " Sana said.

"Mom, dad, I need your help." I said.

"Say it, princess. " dad said.

"Dad, as I told you that my real identity is Bella Lewis. I was Sebastien's girlfriend, but his psycho friend Emily tried to kill me because she wanted Sebastien. " I said.

"You mean the guy who was taking care of you these days, he is your lover?" Mom asked, and I nodded.

"Yes, he is not believing me, mom. He thinks I'm pretending to be Bella. Emily is very dangerous. She is manipulating him. Tomorrow, they are getting engaged. I need your help. Please tell Sebastien everything. " I requested.

"Don't worry, Eve, destiny have its own plans. Destiny brings you guys together again. No one can separate you. Emily will be punished for her bad karma." Mom reassured me.

"Let's go, Ravenna. Our daughter needs us. We couldn't save our Evelyn, but this time we won't let our daughter suffer. Our daughter Bella needs our support. " Dad said.

" No, dad. Not Bella. I'll always be your Evelyn. "
