Chapter 79

Author's POV

  "Yes, it's true, Bella. I am Julie, Arthur's wife. I am sorry for deceiving you." Julie looked down with guilt.

  "I trusted you . I have been dying to ask you why did you do that to me?" Evelyn asked. She was betrayed by her so-called friend.

  "I had no choice. I am pregnant with his child. I tried to convince him to stop going behind you, but he didn't listen. He threatened me to kill the baby, and when I tried to rebel, he abused me physically. When he asked me to pretend to be Liana and get close to you, I thought that this would be an opportunity for me to step out of this house, and as soon as I get a chance I'll tell everything to Sebastien. " Julie explained.

  "Well planned, Julie. You have betrayed your husband for these outsiders. " Arthur scoffed.

  Evelyn slapped him tightly, "You fucking dare to call yourself her husband? Are you even a human being, let alone a husband? You don't deserve her and the baby in her womb. You deserve no one ." Evelyn shouted at him.

  "Take him away. We can deal with him later." Liam ordered his men and smirked at Sebastien. Both of them had planned to torture Arthur instead of giving him an easy death.

  "Thank you so much, Julie, for informing me. I assure you that your baby will be safe. I'll kill that Bastard and he will never get a chance to hurt you." Liam thanked Julie.

  "Truely, if weren't for you, then we might have not reached here on time." Sebastien added.

  "You don't have to thank me. I also had my own interest in this. I wanted to make sure that asshole suffered and that my baby would be safe." Julie said.

  "Brother, Arthur said that our parents betrothed me to him." Evelyn asked.

  "That asshole must have told you his own version of the story. " Liam gritted his teeth .

  "Then tell me the truth. How did they die? How did I end up in the orphanage?" Evelyn asked.

  "Our parents were business associates with Arthur's parents. They were good friends, so they planned to get you both married if you won't feel for someone else till the appropriate age. But his parents were greedy. They were doing some fraud in the company, and when dad was about to expose him, they killed them. " Liam told her.

  "What? Killed them?" She was so shocked. Tears dwelled in her eyes..

  "Yes, I was just 12 at that time. Dad's best friend, Uncle Jules, got to know about the whole scenario and told me about that. Dad's transferred 60% assets in your name and remained in my name. So, we knew that their next target would be you. They were planning to raise you, and once you grow up, get you married to Arthur so that they can get hold of your assets, and once you get into their family, they could manipulate me in your name ." Liam further told.

  "Those Bastards were thinking of using my baby as a pawn in their game." Sebestian growled.

  "That's why Uncle Jules and I sent Bella to the orphanage and said that she went missing. All these years, we made sure that her identity kept hidden . Even I never went to meet her. Otherwise, they could track her through me. Unlce Jules raised me and made me strong enough to protect you when we brought you back. Arthur was also trying to search for you. we thought that it was the right time to bring her back before he got you. we were informed that you died. I was so devastated. If it weren't for Julie to inform me about you, I wouldn't have found you." Liam hugged Bella. He was glad that his baby sister was safe.

"Let's go home, Bella. I am sure Alonzo and Isabella will be glad to meet their uncle. " Sebastien said.

"I can't wait to meet the little ones." Liam's eyes lit up.

"Even I missed them a lot. I wanna see my babies asap." Evelyn said.

"Julie, you should come with us for now." Sebestian suggested, and she agreed with him.

Evelyn was so excited to go home.
