Chapter 30

Sebastien's POV

How can she do this? Why is she using Bella's name.

"Bella, can you believe it. Evelyn is pretending to be you. Why is she using your name like that? I'm so hurt because of her. " I said, looking at Bella cemetery.

I couldn't think of any other place to go. I want to stay near my Bella.

"I'm so sorry, Bella . It was so dumb of me for falling for someone else. How could I even think of replacing you. I have realized my mistake. She doesn't deserve to be in my heart. She knows how much sensitive I get when it's realted to you, and still she is playing such games with me." I sobbed.

stayed there talking to my Bella for hours, I felt someone's hand on my shoulder.

"Leave me alone." I growled.

That person backhugged me .
"How can I leave you alone in this state?"

The moment I heard her voice, I realized it was Emily.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"Your mother called me and told me that you ran out of the house after meeting Evelyn. She thought that you might have met me. I knew where to find you, so I came here." She said.

"Emily, I am so hurt." I said.

"What happened, Sebastien ? Evelyn woke up after so many days. You should be happy then. Why are you sad? " She asked.

"She said something so ridiculous, she hurted me." I mumbled the last part.

"What did she say?" She questioned.

"She claimed that she is Bella. Not just that, but she also claimed that you attempted to kill her 4 years ago.
This is totally ridiculous. You have been my best friend since childhood. Even though in the past few months, there was some tension between you and me because of the arrangement but still how can I believe such allegations against you. You were so close to Bella. Why would you even kill her? " I growled.

"What??? Did she really say all this?"
Emily was shocked at the revelation.

"Sebastien, I think she is insecure because of me. She might have thought that what if you decide to go back to me. That's why she is using Bella's name . Because she knows that Bella is your weakness, and on top of that, framing me as her murderer would be a way to throw me out of your life permanently. I never expected this girl to be so clever. " She said in disbelief.

"I never expected this from her." I was disappointed.

"Sebastien, what are you planning to do now. Will you get back to her?" Emily asked.

I ran my hands through my hair in frustration and said,

"No way, Emily. I can't be with a liar who dared to use my Bella's name just to get with me. I was already with her, but still, she chose to play such dirty tricks." I said.

"So what are you planning to do now."

"She wanted to be with me, right? That's why she played all those tricks. Then, the worst punishment for her will be to lose me forever. I am going to throw her out of my life. " I stated, and Emily held my hand.

"I have a better option. " Emily smirked.

"What is it?" I asked curiously.

"Let's get married. Her whole world will be shattered to see us married together. " She suggested.

"No, Emily, I can't use you for this revenge. " I declined.

"Sebastien, you are not using me. I will be more than happy to marry you. That was already fixed until Evelyn came into our life. Now, it's time to make our lives the way they were before. There shouldn't be any sign or impact of Evelyn in our lives anymore." She said.

"Okay, fine."

I drove home with Emily. As soon as we got there, Evelyn came to me,

"Sebastien, where have you been?" She asked while hugging me .

Emily held her by arm and pushed her away from

"Stay away from him." She growled.

"How dare you talk to my friend like this?" Sana snapped at Emily.

"Sana, it's between me and Sebastien. You should go back home." Evelyn said.

"But Eve, I can't leave you alone like this." Sana resorted.

"Sana, I don't want you to get hurt because of this bitch. Stay out of this." Evelyn said, and Sana left after hugging her.

"Whom did you just called bitch?" Emily roared.

"You unfaithful bitch. I considered you as my friend, and you backstabbed me. I have remembered everything. You pushed me in the water." Evelyn shouted at Emily.

"Just stop with your lies already. Sebastien is not gourmet to fall in your trap. Don't use Bella's name." Emily shouted back.

"Sebastien, she is lying. Don't believe her. I'm telling you the truth, I am Bella, and she tried to kill me." Evelyn said.

"Enough with your nonsense, Evelyn. Don't you dare to talk nonsense about Bella. Emily is my fiance, and you better not disrespect her. Now get the hell out of my house now." I roared.

Evelyn was taken aback by my tone.

"You are believing her over me? Don't you feel anything for me? Every time you used to be with me, you felt as if you were with Bella. When we got drunk that night and you made love to me thinking that I am Bella. Every time you tried to maintain distance from me, you couldn't do that because something was pulling you towards me. Even though I didn't remember anything, we always felt a pull towards each other. Can you deny that feeling, too? Your heart always knew that I was your Bella. " Evelyn cried.

Even after everything, it hurts to see her in tears. I turned away from her. I couldn't see her crying. It breaks my heart. Her words somehow melted me. I almost wanted to believe her, but I don't want to get disappointed later.

"Sebastien, don't get fooled by her words. She is trying to play with your emotions. " Emily said.

"And you, didn't you hear that Sebastien asked you to leave. Tomorrow is our engagement, and you are not invited."Emily held her by arm and dragged her towards the door. She pushed her out of the door and closed the door at her face.

When she was closing the door, my eyes met with Evelyn before the door was completely closed, I could see pain in them.

'Am I doing right?' I thought to myself.

I took out my phone and texted Sana,

'Come and take Evelyn home with you.'

"Babe, we should go and get the engagement ring. " Emily squealed.

"Emily, I'm tired after all this drama. Can you please go and select it on your own." I said and went to my room.

I went to the window and looked down, Evelyn was sitting there, and crying.

Sana came later and took her home.

'Why am I feeling sad.'
