Author's POV

"Samuel, make sure to increase the security at home. Every member of the family must get a personal bodyguard when they have to go out. In this situation, it's hard to trust anyone. It's not safe to hire bew guards. Talk to Mark and ask him to send his trusted guards." Sebestian told Samuel.

"Don't worry, Mr Robinson. I'll talk to Mark and handle everything well." Samuel said.

"Okay, then you can get back to work." Sebastien said.

Samuel left the cabin. Sebestian heard the door of the cabin open again. He looked up and saw his beautiful wife walking in with their mini versions.

"Evelyn, you know it's not safe for you guys to go out alone. Why did you come here?" He asked with a frown. Her smile dropped immediately.

"I thought your dad would be happy to see us, but it seems like he is bothered with our presence . Your dad doesn't want to spend time with us. He even forgot the special occasion. " Evelyn pouted and said to the babies.

Isabella made grabby hands towards Sebastien.

"DADA." She said in her baby voice.

Sebastien took his little princess in his arms and kissed her cheeks.

"Did you miss dada?" He said and poked her tummy. She giggled in response.

Then he looked at his mad wife. He kissed Alonzo's forehead. He pressed the intercom button.

"Sam, come and take the kids for a while." He said.

Samuel came quickly and took both the kids in his each arm.

"Let's go, babies. Uncle sam will play with you and buy you pudding ." Samuel said, and the twins giggled.

"Why are you mad at me, wifey? I was not getting mad for coming here. I am just worried about your safety, honey ." He said as he snuggled his face in the crook of her neck.

"I wanted to surprise you. And it's a special day, so I wanted to spend time with you. " Evelyn replied .

"Is it a special day? How come I don't remember anything. " Sebastien said.

Evelyn got mad and removed his hands around her waist. She turned away from him and crossed her arms with an angry pout.

She felt something cold on her neck. She gasped with surprise to see the diamond necklace.

"You really thought I would forget such an important day. I remember we started dating on this day during our high school days. I already prepared this surprise gift for you." Sebastien said.

"This is so beautiful, Sebastien. Thank you so much." Evelyn hugged him.

"Just a thank you is not enough. " Sebastien pouted, and she pecked his pout.

"Since Sam is handling the twins for now, we should go out for a lunch date to celebrate this occasion." Evelyn suggested.

"Nice idea." He said and interviewed his fingers with her.

They sat in his car and drove off to her favorite restaurant.

"Weather is so good today." Evelyn said as she looked outside. Cool wind was hitting her face, and her hair was blowing with the wind. In Sebastien's eyes, she was the best view.

"Have I told you that you are looking gorgeous today?" Sebastien asked while smiling.

"You say that every day." Evelyn giggled.

"Because you look amazing every day. I wonder how I got so lucky to have this beauty by my side." He winked at her. She blushed at his words.

"Perfect. Now you are looking breathtaking with that blush on your cheeks." He commented. She covered her face with her hands.

"Stop it, Seb. How many times do I tell you not to tease me like this. You always make me shy. Not just butterflies, but a bunch of dragons are dancing in my stomach now. It's a funny feeling. " She said while giggling shyly. Sebastien chuckled at her cuteness.

Suddenly, a car stopped in front of them. Sebastien tried to get another route, but he realized that they were stuck between the cars. Someone was trying to trap them.

"Stay in the car. I will look into this." Sebastien was about to get out of the car, but Evelyn stopped him.

"Don't go." She said with tears.

"I'll be fine. Take my phone and call Mark. Tell him to send backup and send our location to him." He told her.

Some men dressed in black and wearing masks came out of the cars. They were holding guns, and Sebastien was on their target.

"Sebastien, I am scared. " Evelyn cried .

"Don't worry. The glass is bulletproof. Before they would be able to break it, Mark will be here." Sebastien said.

They started firing bullets on his car. Evelyn was feeling panicked. The sound of gunshots piercing through her ears.

"Seb, glass is about to break." Evelyn said.

"Don't panick, baby. Bend down ." Sebastien said, and he took out his fully loaded gun.

Suddenly , a black Mercedes came towards them. That car hit those men dress in black.

"Get in." A woman said from inside the car.

Sebastien quickly helped Evelyn to get out of the car and took her to the Mercedes safely. As soon as they sat, the lady pressed the race and drove off.

"Thank you so much." Evelyn said.

"Never mind. I am Liana." The woman replied.

"Hey Liana. I'm Sebastien Robinson, and this is my wife, Evelyn." Sebastien said.

"You should check your wife if she got hurt somewhere. I can drive to the hospital. " Liana said.

"No, I'm totally fine. All thanks to you. Why didn't Mark come with you?" Evelyn asked .

"Who is Mark?" Liana asked.

"Didn't Mark send you?" Sebastien asked.

"No, I don't know any person with that name." Liana replied.

"Then why did you help us?" Evelyn asked.

"Actually, I helped you because our enemy is the same. That psychopath was behind my sister initially, and then he killed her. I got to know that you are his next target. I failed to protect my sister, so I pledged to myself that I won't let that Bastard harm anyone anymore . I want to kill him and avenge for my sister." Liana said.

"You know him? Who is he?" Sebastien asked.
