Chapter 89

Author's POV

  "You mother looks so ugly. Did you take after her?" Some guys were harassing a boy who was cornered by them.

  "My mom isn't ugly. " He said angrily.

  "So, you are talking back now. You ungrateful piece of shit." One of the boys kicked him.

  "Your father must have abandoned you and your mother because both of you are ugly and unworthy. " Another guy said, and they laughed at him.

  "Stop bullying him." Isabella shouted at the bullies who were almost double her age.

  "Hey, little girl. You better stay out of it. This is none of your business. " One of the bullies said angrily.

  "His family matter is not your business either. Who are you to judge him and hit him?" Isabella said.

  "Kids these days are talking too much. Should we teach her a lesson too?" A guy said, and the rest of them nodded.

  "If I'm a kid, you aren't an adult either. Don't even think about hurting me. I'm not scared of you." Isabella said.

  "If you dare to touch my sister, I won't go easy on you. And my father will destroy. " Alonzo said and protectively wrapped his arm around her shoulder. He is just 5 years old but always ready to protect his sister.

  "Count me in. No one is allowed to bully my cousin. " Carson said. Those little ones were literally acting like badass adults who were ready to fight anyone.

  "Kid, you better go and sing nursery rhymes instead of playing hero here." Bullies were mocking them.

  "Hey punk, how dare you talk to my kids like that." Sebastien said .

"Daddy, these bad boys were bullying that boy." Isabella said.

"Yeah, they even tried to hurt Isabella. " Alonzo said.

The bullies were scared to see Sebastien.

"You are lucky that I don't hurt children. You better apologize to that kid, and if I see you bullying anyone again, you will face the consequences ." Sebastien warned.

"Sorry, friend. Please forgive us. We'll not trouble you anymore. And little girl, you should forgive us too." The guys apologized and left.

"Get up, don't act timid, and let people bully you. " Isabella helped the boy to get up.

"My name is Isabella. What is your name?" She asked innocently.

"My name is Andrew. " The boy said.

"Do you have friends?" She asked.

"People don't like me. I am alone." He replied sadly.

"Don't worry, you won't be alone now. I'll be your friend. " Isabella extended her hand towards him.

Sebastien looked at his daughter proudly, how considerate and friendly she is. But his proudly grin changed into grim as soon as the Andrew hugged Isabella.

"You should try to maintain distance from my sister. " Alonzo Said.

"He is my friend. It's normal for friends to hug. Don't overreact. " Isabella stuck her tongue at him.

"Thank you for being my friend Isabel. " Andrew said, and Sebastien frowned at the nickname.

"Isabella, let's go home. Mom must be waiting for us." Alonzo dragged his sister away from Andrew.

"Hop in Carson, your father is busy with work he asked me to pick you up." Sebastien said.

"Daddy, can we give a ride to Andrew? I don't want to leave him alone here." Isabella said.

"How can I say no to you, princess?" Sebastien said, and Andrew joined them too.
