Chapter 57

Author's Pov

"She looks exactly like my Bella." Sebestian said. He placed a kiss on his daughter's temple.

"Seb, look. Your son looks like you." Aron said while holding his grandson.

"Evelyn always wanted a boy who looks like you. She will be happy to see him." Ravenna smiled.

"Yes, she will wake up soon and meet the babies." James added.

"At least they have smile on their face after seeing the babies. All of them have been shedding tears ever since Eve was admitted. " Sana said to Alex.

"You were crying too." He commented.

"I'm feeling better now. Looking at these pure souls is giving me comfort. " She smiled.

"What are you going to name them?" Selena asked.

Sebastien took his son from Aron. He holded both his babies together .

"Evelyn said once that she wanted to name our son, Alonzo. So, our son's name will be Alonzo. And as for my cute little princess, I'll name her Isabella. I want to name her similar to my Bella." He kissed both the babies on their cheeks.

"Isabella is a beautiful name." Ravenna said.

"Enough, you have been holding the babies for too long. Now it's my turn. Uncle Len wanna play with them, too." Lennon said.

"No, it's my turn." Alex said.

"I'm the godmother, so I'll play with the babies first." Sana flipped her hair.

"Sorry kids, you can't beat the grandpa duo." Aron and James shook hands.

"Oh really? Grandma duo always rock." Selena and Ravenna said in unison. Both of them rushed to Sebastien and got the babies in their arms.

"Selena, give Isabella to me." Aron said.

"No."

"I know, my dear Ravenna won't refuse me. I can play with Alonzo, right?" James smiled.

"Go and play with your friend Aron." She said.

"You ladies are so cruel." Aron and James said in unison.

"You all, stop fighting like kids." Sebastien chuckled.

"Mr Robinson, your wife's heart stopped beating." The nurse informed him.

The whole world seems to have come to a crash. Everyone's smile dropped, and there was deadly silence. They all were rushing towards Evelyn's ward.

"Sana, please stay here with babies." Selena said.

"I want to check on Eve." Sana said with tears.

"I'll stay with them. You can go." Alex offered.

"What happened to her?" Sebastien was losing his mind.

"Her pulse was falling, and she was breathing abruptly. I went to call the doctor. By the time we returned, her body wasn't responding to anything. Her heartbeat also stopped." Nurse informed.

"I want to see her immediately. She can't die like that. She can't. " Sebastien fell on his knees and cried out loudly.

"Sir, you guys can't see her now. Doctors are still trying to revive her heart. There is still hope." Nurse informed.

"Jesus, please don't take away my daughter. You can't be so cruel. You already took away our daughter, and now we have Bella. Don't take her away." Ravenna broke into tears.

"Mom, why are you crying? Everyone just stops crying. I won't cry either. My Bella is not going to leave me. Believe me, she wakes up and hugs me again. She promised to get old with me. She knows if she breaks her promise, then I'll get mad at her." Sebastien said and wiped his tears away. He put on a strong face.

"Sebastien is right. The nurse said that we still have hope. Be strong, Ravenna. Our daughter will survive. " James said and hugged Ravenna.

After a few minutes, the doctor came out.

"Is my wife safe now?" Sebastien asked desperately.

"We revived her heart. But it's important for her to wake up in the next 12 hours. Otherwise, she might fall into a coma." Doctor said.

"I'll wake her up. She won't ignore my plead." Sebastien said.

"Yes, the patient is unconscious, but her subconscious mind can hear you. You should talk to her. She has to fight with this on her own. Her willpower to wake up can get her out of this." Doctor said.

"Can we see her?" James asked .

"I can't allow everyone to go there. It would be best if the closest person to her go and try to wake her up." Doctor said.

"Sebastien, you should go." Ravenna said.

"Yes, mom, I'll bring our Evelyn back." Sebastien said.

When he entered the ward, Evelyn was lying on the bed, looking weak and lifeless. His heart ached to see her that way. He was missing his cheerful and bubbly wife.

"Bella, wake up already. Why do you always have to get hurt and give me pain like this. Last time, you fell in a coma and made me wait. Now, are you planning to do that again? Don't you care about your husband?" He said, trying to sound mad.

There wasn't any response from her. He held her hand between his hands and kissed the back of her hand. He couldn't control his tears from falling.

"Please, Bella. Come back. Don't you want to see how adorable babies we made. Our son Alonzo looks exactly like me. You always wished for that right. And you know, our little princess Isabella is an exact replica of you. Just a mini version of my Bella." He chuckled through tears.

He saw a lone tear escaped her eye. It gave him a ray of hope.

"Bella, you can hear me, right? Wake up, love. You have slept a lot already. Our babies must be hungry. You should wake up and feed them. I'm fine with them taking away my boobies advantage. I just want you to look at me and talk to me." He said in pleading voice.

He called Alex and asked him to bring Isabella and Alonzo.

"Look, Eve. Our babies are waiting for getting hugs and kisses from their momma. Would that make these little angles wait, too?" Sebastien laid the babies on each side of her. He held her hands and put them on the twin's head. He wants her to feel the presence of the twins.

"You can feel them right? They are soft and delicate. " He smiled at the twins.

Suddenly, the babies started crying loudly. He wanted to hold them and make them calm down, but when he saw Evelyn's body reacting to their cry, he held himself back.
