Author's POV

"This is my husband Dylan." Liana introduced her husband to Sebastien.

Sebastien shook his hand with him.

"It's nice to meet you, Dylan. Your wife has helped us a lot. You are lucky to have her in your life." Sebastien said with a smile.

Dylan reciprocated his smile with the same energy, " The pleasure is all mine. My wife is really incredible. "

"Evelyn didn't come with you?" Liana enquired.

"No, she is with the twins. My daughter Isabella is not well. So, Evelyn wanted to stay with her." Sebastien informed.

"Oh! that's sad. I hope she gets well soon. Your daughter is very cute. " Dylan said.

"How do you know ?" Sebastien asked.

"Actually, we investigated Evelyn and her family when we got to know how Arthur is targeting her. We saw some of your family pictures on the internet." Liana said.

"You are right indeed. My Isabella is such a cutipie, and so is Alonzo. " Sebastien smiled, remembering his kids.

"You should be really careful about your kids. Liana told me that he had already kidnapped them once." Dylan expressed his concern.

"I don't think that he is going to harm them. Because if he had to do that, then he wouldn't have let them go. More than harming anyone, it feels like he is just trying to scare me. He is trying to show me how powerful and capable he is. It's all a plan to scare me out so that I give up on my Bella." Sebestian said.

"It makes sense. These attacks are only to scare you out." Liana agreed with him.

"This man is really crazy. You have no idea that he can go to any length to get what he wants. He manipulated my sister in law and he is trying to do the same to Evelyn. Or, to be more precise, he is after Bella. He is not just some admirer of Evelyn Moore. He is clearly after Bella Lewis. " Dylan said.

"Yes, as you told me, that is how he always addresses her as Bella. It's been so many years since Bella has gone through the surgery that she has embraced a new identity. He is someone connected to Bella Lewis." Liana said.

"Do you or Bella know this man from the past?" Dylan asked.

"For now, I don't remember much. I'm not able to connect the dots. Before meeting me, Bella used to stay in an orphanage. I should ask her about that. If he is connected to the past." Sebastien said.

"Yeah, we should investigate in the orphanage as well." Liana said.

"I agree with you guys. This is really going to help." Dylan said.

"I'll tell Evelyn to join us. Mom can look after the twins." Sebastien said. He excused himself to make a call with Evelyn.

"That poor soul is so worried about his family. " Liana said sadly. She felt genuinely worried about them. She can't let Arthur destroy this beautiful family.

"She will join us. My assistant is going to drop her at the orphanage. We shall go there directly. " Sebastien informed them.

They drove to the orphanage, and Evelyn was already there with Samuel and some bodyguards.

Sebastien hugged his wife, and then Liana gave a hug to her.

Liana introduced Dylan to Evelyn.

"Evelyn, this is Dylan, my darling husband. " She giggled.

"We are finally meeting Miss Lewis. I heard a lot about you." Dylan smiled at her.
