Evelyn's POV

"Do you remember this bracelet?" I asked with hopeful eyes, but Sebastien remained silent .

"When we met for the first time, I accidentally spilled ink on you. No one else knows about this. Accept you and me."

He still didn't respond. He was frozen in his place. He was looking at me without blinking.

"When I fell ill on Christmas Eve, you had a family dinner to attend, but you stayed by my side all night just to look after me. When I went to London for a one month internship, you wrote me so many letters. When I asked you why you were writing letters when you could simply text me or call me, then you said that letters are more romantic and these letters would hold the memories of this time."

Tears were falling from my eyes continuously, I was waiting for him to say something, but he was silent.

"You are done with your drama, nice skit Evelyn. Bravo! now leave this place. No one here believes you. Sebastien's silence is enough to prove that he doesn't believe you." Emily mocked me.

She held my arm, "It's time to send the uninvited guests back to their original place."

She dragged me to the door and pushed me to throw me out. I was about to fall, but someone's arms caught me in time.

When my eyes met his, a fresh pool of tears emerged from my eyes.

"I'm sorry, Bella."

He engulfed me in a tight hug. I hugged him back. Both of us were crying.

"I'm sorry, my love, I didn't believe you. All this time, you were around me, but I couldn't recognize you. I hurt you so badly with my words. I'm so sorry. " He kept apologising.

I broke the hug and cupped his cheeks, wiping the tears from his eyes. I kissed him all over his face.

"Seb, that day when I was falling in the water, I was not scared to die. But I was scared that I won't be able to see you again. Before dying, I was just wishing to see you for the last time, hold you in my arms, and tell you how much I love you. But god has his own plans. "
I said.

"I never expected to see you again, that day something inside me just died. I was not being myself after you left. But god and Destiny brought us together again. " Sebastien kissed me on top of my head.

"Sebastien, how can you believe this girl. She is deceiving you." Emily snarled.

"She is my Bella, I don't need any proof anymore. And you Emily, you are the one who deceived me. You had hurted my Bella. You tried to kill her, and I will never forgive you for that." Sebastien roared.

"I told you, Emily. My Sebastien will be on my side, and I won't let you separate us this time." I said.

"Call the cops." Sebastien ordered one of his bodyguards.

Emily pushed me down on the floor, and Sebastien came to my side to support me to get up.

"Evelyn, you need to be careful. You still haven't recovered completely. " Sebastien said with concern.

I looked around but my eyes couldn't find the face I was searching for.

"Seb, Emily is gone."

Following my words, he also looked around, "Guards check everywhere, and get her out of wherever she is hiding in the mansion. Close the main gate. No one would leave the mansion until we find her. "

Guards were checking each and every corner .

"Sir, we have checked everywhere. She is nowhere to be seen. I guess she already escaped. " One of the Guards informed .

"You guys are good for nothing. She escaped so easily. Why did I even hire you just to get disappointed. You all are fired." Sebastien growled, and all the guards were shaking with fear.

"Calm down, Seb." I said.

"How can I keep myself calm. Emily has escaped, and we all know that she is so dangerous. She will try to harm you, and I can't let any threat near you. I can't be calm until I send her behind the bars." Sebastien said.

"We'll definitely catch her."

Then the head of the bodyguards came and informed,

"Boss, I have bad news. Your personal investigator called and said that Theodore has escaped from the cell."
