Back to Melissa's POV:

Chapter 15;

I sat on the ground on my hand's and knee's wondering if this was all real.
Vincent picked up Vanessa as she screamed and cried for Kat.
Vikki followed them out and stopped.

"So much for saving her huh?"

She walked away leaving me with the body as Violet walked away too.
I looked up as my eye's were blurry from tears.

This is all my fault.. I should of known. She was only human and was dying already.
I killed her..

I balled my fist up into a ball as my tears fell onto the floor.

"Fuck.." I mumbled.

"FUCK" I screamed slamming my fist into the ground so hard I was waiting for a break or pain but nothing came.

I stood up and walked over to Kat and moved the cover looking at her body, she was going pale already.

"I'm sorry.." I cried touching her cold cheek.

"It wasn't supposed to end like this." I cried harder.

I killed an innocent girl. Was it all worth it? Should I have bitten her? She was so happy.. She was safe and had a friend, a home to call home .. Was I wrong.

I covered her face back up as Violet was now in the room.
"They have to take her now. "

Two guy's came in and took her away as I watched.
Violet grabbed for me as I moved from her.

"Don't touch me."

"Alpha, your hands let me-

"Don't touch me!" I yelled at her.

I walked away slamming the door open. Jason and Lark looked at me and said nothing.
Vikki was arguing with someone as I moved to see and my heart dropped .
So this was it. They knew.

The council stood there.
They looked at me as I walked forward.

"Don't make a scene Melissa, just come."

I looked at Vikki as she looked pissed and torn.

I said nothing and nodded.
A man walked over and cuffed me in the front. I looked at the white cuff's and wanted to die.

One by one my pack was staring at me.
I felt ugly.

"Mommy!!" Vanessa yelled.
Vincent held her back as she yelled for me.

I looked at my kids and couldn't even smile or tell them it will be ok. Because I knew it was bad news for me.

My mother and father were getting held back by people as they yelled for me. I couldn't look at them. My brother looked at the floor cause even he knew I fucked up.

"MOMMY!!!!" Vanessa roared letting her wolf out as she came running down the stairs.

One of the guard's hit her and my mother alpha mode was activated.
My eye's went red as I pounced on the guy holding him by the neck as two other guard's grabbed me.
"DONT TOUCH MY DAUGHTER!!" I screamed.

I thrashed around in there arm's as they dragged me away.
Vanessa and Vincent called for me as I screamed for them.
Vikki said nothing as she stared at me. She didn't now what to do.
I stared at her and smiled.
Whispering to her.
"Take care of them.."
