Chapter 48

What Am I Gonna Do.

Chapter 48:

I woke up blinking as I looked around . I was in the infirmary and no one was around, I looked to my left and Vikki was gone. I touched my stomach and listened. A heart beat was still beating as I sighed and opened my eyes.

Violet stood there smiling.
"Your awake."

"What happen?"

"You almost lost the baby, but everything is okay. Your healthy again. "

I sighed nodding .

"Vikki.. Is she-

"I am fine." She said walking in.

My heart jumped as I looked at her. She looked at me and came over kissing my head.
"You scared me."

"Violet. Can I talk to her alone."

She nodded and walked away.

"Vikki.. I have no clue why or-

"The baby." She said.

"Is the gods cursing me.. Or what."

She said nothing as she moved her fingers through my hair.

"Talk to me." I whispered hurt.

"I almost lost you and my unborn baby." She said running her fingers down my stomach .

"What if they be spiteful.. Vikki I-

"What it was , it's in the past-

"What if it's not yours and the gods did this to be spiteful ." I cried.

She growled and looked at me.
"This is my baby regardless."

I cried staying quiet.
"Mine." She repeated.

I cried lightly as the girls came running in.
I looked at Sara and Amy and my daughter as they all screamed.

"Your having a baby!!" They shouted.

I winced at the screaming as Vikki laughed.
"The pack kind of found out."

What if it's not her's.

"Oh." I said.

Vikki looked at me.
"Relax" she whispered.
I nodded.

"Mommy! I am so happy , hopefully it's a girl! So I can do her hair! Eeeee!" She giggled.
I smiled.

"Or a boy! That Vincent can be with and train to be the next Alpha after he steps down."

If it's her's.

I smiled a fake smile. Vikki noticed as she squeezed my hand.

"Not to brag.. But everyone is waiting . We're throwing a title party for you two." Sara smiled.

People.. Rumors.. Will talk.. Baby..

My heart sped up as I was getting nervous.
"That's great, can I be alone with her a little longer."

They nodded and ran off as the door shut Vikki sat on my bed side and looked at me.
"This baby is mine. MINE" she yelled.

I flinched at her yelling at me but I knew she was doing it to tell my head and heart it was.
"I'm scared."

She rubbed my cheek and kissed my lips.

"I am too." She whispered.
"But you can't stress yourself."

"This is my baby. I will protect the both of you. Do you understand me." She whispered.

I nodded slowly as she rested her head on my forehead. She took in my scent and moved her head and rested it against my stomach. I stayed still as I looked at her.

Her eyes were closed as she listened.
"The heart beat is super fast . Crazy." She smiled.

I stayed still and closed my eyes.
"Girl or boy."

She looked at me.
"Ill say boy."

"I'll say girl." I smiled.

We laughed as she came and snuggled close to me.
"I love you."

I looked at her eyes and smiled rubbing her cheek.
"As I love you. "

"I will protect you and this baby."

I said nothing as I smiled.

I wore a nice dress that matches my pink lips. I wore flats , I walked down stairs with Vikki. She wore black pants and a nice dressy shirt.

Everyone was partying and drinking. Having a good time.
Vikki guided me over to the punch as she sniffed it than handed it to me as I laughed.

"So it's true." Jason said.

I turned looking at him.

He smiled and hugged me.
"You should of told me , congrats."

"T-Thanks." I said.

"Can't wait." Amy smiled.

"Same." I said.

"You okay?" Sara asked.

"A little overwhelming for her guys." Vikki answered.

A sharp pain made hunch over. I held my stomach.

"Hey" Vikki said grabbing me.

"S-Something's wrong." I said.

"Violet!!" She yelled.

I got on my knee's as it was hard to breathe and the pain hurt.
Amy and Sara held my hand as I closed my eyes.
Sharper pains came as I screamed.

"Vikki!" Amy yelled.

Violet came running over and looked at me.
"Get her to the infirmary!" She yelled.

People watched in horror as Vikki picked me up, every movement hurt as I screamed.

She ran to the infirmary as everyone followed.
She put me on the bed gently as I was trying to settle my breathing.
Vikki grabbed my hand and tried taking the pain away but she couldn't . She looked at me and squeezed my hand.
I covered my eyes with my hand and tried to calm down

"Is she ok!" They yelled.

"Everyone out! I need room!" She yelled getting aggravated.

"She- She is bleeding." Vikki spat out.

Tears came down my face, this is it. My baby was either hurt or dead inside of me.

"Vikki slid her pants off, I need to see what's going on."

She nodded and took my pants and undies off putting them aside. It was only us in the room and I didn't want to look, Vikki didn't let go.

Violet opened my legs as something cold hit me and made me jump. I bit my lip and prayed to the gods.

Please.. Don't take my baby. I'm sorry . I whispered to them in my head.

Vikki heard me and squeezed my hand more.
"The bleeding is normal ." She said taking her gloves off."

"Normal? What about the pain. She was hunched over screaming." She said.

Violet bit her lip and came over and listened to the heart beat.
"No.." She said and walked over to the computer and books.

"What?" I said .

"Your baby, it's fine."

"Than what was that?!" I screamed.

Hand as she came over looking at me and her.

"Your having pains because this is gonna be the hardest birth you will ever give."

"Huh?"

"Your baby.."

"Spit it out!"

"Your baby is human"
