Chapter 63:

Everyone was gathered into the living room .
We notified Alvin and Alex. They were gonna meet us in the woods.

Our town was on fire and blood was in the air, the innocent people of that town.. Dead or injured.

Vanessa stayed by Lana as she held he close.
Vincent was up my ass since they arrived.

Vikki was going over the plans. Sadly they wanted me here, I refused but Vikki said she was gonna tie me down.
So I agreed and stayed with pregnant Sara. She needed protection.
Kyle asked me and I agreed .

So now I'm sitting here as Sara sits on the couch nervous . Violet our pack doctor was also going to tend to the injured.

I sighed sitting next to her. She gave me a small smile .

"We need to head out. I want two wolves outside the pack house. Melissa, Sara and kids will be here. While the rest are out getting these assholes for destroying our town!"

They yelled .

"Find any injured and go to the tents that Violet and other pack doctors will be ."
"Head out"

Vikki came over to me. She smiled as I crossed my arms.
Lana and Vanessa went into hiding to protect the kids and elders.
Vincent was gonna fight and I didn't approve.

"I'll watch over him"

"What if they hurt him.." I said worried .

She smiled and grabbed my face looking at my eyes.
"I'll watch over him. You be safe .

I nodded as she kissed my lips. I hugged her as she held me close than let go as she jogged off with Vincent .

The two wolves bowled at me as I nodded closing and locking the door . Sara was looking at me as she turned on the tv.

"Netflix." She said .

I nodded smiling . Sitting down next to her .

"Brunt pregnant sucks."

She laughed nodding .
"But it's a wonderful thing.. Think about it, me and Kyle made this."

I gave her a look as she laughed .

"You and Vikki made that." She poked at my tummy .

I smiled .
"Actually.. Well kind of " I said thinking about it .

"To think your baby will be human."

"Crazy. She will be human but live with wolves ."

"And has powers ."

"Exactly." I sighed .

"This world is weird ."

I nodded agreeing .
Everyone was talking in mine link as I shut them out . Sara did the same .

"How can rouges kill humans like that ." She said upset .

"There monsters." I told her .

Something slammed against the door as we both looked.
We remained quiet as Sara turned the TV off.
Another slam made me jump up.
"Guards!"

Nothing .
The door was rattling as I grabbed Sara and ran up the stairs.
The door busted open as wolves piled in.

Sara ran down the hall into Vikki's office . I went in and closed the door. I pulled the alarm as it went off and locked the hole house down .
A steal door shielded us between the intruders.
