Melissa's POV

Chapter 58:

We all sat around the house and kept quiet, it was getting dark out.
I flicked through the channels groaning as it was so boring.

Vincent gasped and fell to the floor. I turned looking at him as he yelled in pain. Clutching his stomach.

I got up and rushed over to him.

Mikey yelled and fell to the floor. What the hell?

Vikki came over as Violet did to.

"What's going on? Vincent talk to me" Violet said .

My heart sank. I looked up at Vikki as her face was pale. We both knew this pain.

"She didn't...

"She did." Vikki said.

I stared at Vincent as he cried in pain. Mikey's parents were at his side. He was in pain as well.

"This is your fault. You let her go to protect her. Now look what happen." Vikki said to me and helped Vincent up to go in his room.

I stood there. Processing what had happen. My daughter have up her card . Choose a mate .. And did the un thinkable .

'What did you do..'

'It's my life-

'Why did you tell me! You just put them in pain! You should of thought about this come home-

'I'm not coming back.' She said.

'Nessa, what do you mean.'

'I need time. I'll be back when I'm ready.'

She shut me out. I kept trying to get in her head as I screamed and dropped to the floor.

"Melissa!" Amy yelled coming over to me.

"No! I can't give up"

I gripped my head going to the floor. I groaned trying to get back in her head as she was trying so hard to keep me out.

"Stop your bleeding!" Amy yelled.

Sparks came into my hands as Vikki held onto me.
"Stop."

"No!" I cried.

"Stop!" She said as I opened my eyes.

She was gone.

Vikki tried helping me up as I pushed her away and got up myself.
I made my way up the stairs past Vincent's room as he cried lightly. I entered my room holding my head. I grabbed tissues cleaning up my
Bloody nose.

I got into the bathtub and relaxed. I put bubbles in it as I stepped in and closed my eyes.
The door opened and I knew who it was. I stayed quiet as she did too.
She sat on the toilet tapping her foot.

"You don't have to tell me. I fucked up I know."

"You only did what you thought was right babe"

"Which led to this. I mind linked her. She isn't coming back that's why I had a nose bleed. She cut me off."
