Chapter 97:

I closed Vanessa's door, it was around 6 in the morning. Every hour she would wake up from night terror's.. hopefully she will be okay and get through this.

I went into the kitchen as I made some coffee. A yawn made me turn my head as Vikki came over and took a seat.

"She finally asleep?"

"Yeah, thank god. It was like every hour she was up. I told Kat to go to bed in her own room.. hopefully no one else woke up from her, she was pretty loud." I said taking a sip of my coffee.

She yawned and looked at me.
"We all heard her.. but no one said anything, out of respect." She told me as I nodded my head .

I yawned as I shook my head and sat down. Thankfully Vincent was watching Hope for me while everything was happening .

"Does she need anything ."  Vikki asked me .

I shrugged . "Nothing I know of, to tired to function." I laughed .

She came over behind me and held me as I sighed and relaxed in her arms.
Our wolves snuggled eachother in our heads as I smiled closing my eyes.

"Why don't you rest today."

"Because, Vanessa needs me and the baby.. I can't pawn her on people all the time " I said with a long sigh.

"Your not pawning her Melissa, you simply need rest." She said pushing against my back. I blushed with a sigh and turned to her.

"Do you need me, do you think I'm pretty?" I quoted a song .

She laughed and kissed my head.
"Go sleep silly."

I smirked and nodded my head walking away and up the stairs. I walked past Vanessa's room as I peaked in, she was sound asleep softly snoring. Lana was asleep on the floor as I smiled .

I walked into my bed room and jumped on the bed with a huge sigh as I fell asleep.

I woke up to people hollering and shouting . I stood up fast that made my head spin, cursing under my breathe I walked out my room to see people running around the house.

I saw Amy holding her baby boy, she spotted me and ran over .
"Melissa, Hunter's are approaching ! Get the kids and get to the basement."

Hunter's.. oh my god!

I ran off to Vanessa's room. Lana was helping her up as she looked at me.
"Nessa get hope and get to the safe house! Do understand me-

"Mom! You need to go too it's not safe-

"I need to be with Vikki. This is my pack too." I smiled at her and rushed off.

I past parents running down the stairs to our safe house, the safe house was near the cells where we kept people but it was behind a door .
Kids and mother's races down leaving there husbands to fight.

I spotted Vikki as I walked beside her and took her hand. She was alerted by the sparks as she looked at me.

"How many." I asked Jason and Lark.

"10, maybe more." He said .

"Why are they here." Vincent asked .

I turned my head .
"You need to be in the safe house-

"I need to be out here." He told me brushing it off.

Vikki rubbed my hand and smiled . I sighed .

"There closing in." Someone ran in .

I looked at Vikki as she looked at me.
"Together."

She nodded at me as we walked off to outside.

Vanessa's pov :

I sat there as kids cried to there mother's. I looked over at Lana who was helping calm down the children.
I looked down at my baby sister, her perfect blue eyes stared up at me.

"Hope. This world is to cruel for you.. your so young and fragile, you have no clue what your growing up in." I whispered to her.

She cooed at me.

'She is adorable.' His voice made me look at him. He stood next to me smiling at Hope.. I guess she could see him too as she moved her eyes to him.

"Go away.. your not really here.." I whispered so no one would think I was crazy.

'I'm much alive.. in your heart.' He said and touched my hand.

Lana came over and kneeled before me.
"Hey , everything is gonna be okay." She told me .

My eyes met her's as I smiled .
"Why would hunter's cross out border's? What do they want."

"I don't know, your parents will figure it out." She told me moving hair behind my ear.

I smiled and went back to playing with Hope just as the door to opened .

I stood up and looked and looked at my mother . She came running over to me and grabbed the baby , Vikki grabbed me as men came in.

I watched as they grabbed Lana. My heart dropped .

"M-Mom.. you didn't!" I said trying to move.

"They wanted her.. they were gonna take you and Hope away from us! It's the only way.." My mother said looking away.

"Get your hands off her!" I screamed at the men.

Lana looked at me. She only smiled .

"She did bad things Nessa." Vikki whispered to me.

"No ! Please don't take her!" I screamed .

"They promised not to kill her, they need answers .. isn't that right." Vikki said eyeing the man.

"Of course, she will be back before you know it." He smiled at me .

I let my wolf out as I growled.
"Hurt her and I'll kill you."

"Is that a threat Pup?" He smirked as they pulled Lana away.

I pulled out Vikki's grip .

"That's a fucking promise. " I growled .

He smirked and walked away. I was weak as I dropped to the floor and watched them leave .
My mom came over and hugged me.

"You don't honestly think your mother is that weak." She whispered to me.

I looked at her confused as she got up and handed Amy the baby.
"We have men in the Woods's, were gonna capture them.. it's time to find out what is going on with these hunter's and rouge's lately." She said walking away.

I smirked.
I forgot my mother is a total badass when it comes to family .
