What Does This All Mean.

Chapter 44:

The next day I didn't sleep , tossing and turning the all night. It's week 3 and Melissa still sleep's peacefully. Rubbing my head trying to focus on pack work.

Lark came in and at down in the chair looking at me as I already knew what he was gonna say or ask. I wasn't in the mood.

"So what's on your mind."

I sighed and finally looked at him.
"I don't know. I don't now! Everyone is asking me, I haven't thought of it. If she loses everything. She might go back to the day we didn't meet."

"You met in school though."

I groaned .
"Still.. Our kids? You guys?"

He nodded understanding .
"Still a option. If not we wait till she wakes."

I sighed and laid my head on my hands and stared at the picture of my kids and Melissa. I don't know what to do..

A knock made us stop talking as a guard came in.
"Phone Alpha."

I raised and eyebrow as I grabbed the phone.
"Hello" I said sounding annoyed.

'Cheer up sissy." Michael's voice made me sit up straight.

'What do you want Michael.'

Lark looked at me and listened.

'How is everything? Sleeping beauty?'

I growled.

'Listen, hate me all you want. I didn't now they were gonna do that.'

'And I should believe you! She has been in a sleep coma!' I yelled.

He was quiet as the girl Jace was yelling also listening in our convo.

'There is a way to help her'

'Yeah her memories of everyone and her being human-

'Obviously no one is telling you the real one.'

I stayed quiet as Lark sighed and stood up. Did he know?

'Tell me'

He laughed.
'Well darling come on by the house and I'll talk to you. I wanna meet my niece and nephew'

'No. I can't trust-

'Bring a guard than, God there family I won't hurt them.'

I sighed and hung up the phone he already knew my answer . I stood up as I looked at Lark he nodded.

"I'll get the car ready."

I grabbed my coat and mind liked Vanessa and Vincent to get ready.

I went into the infirmary and I looked at Melissa and rubbed her hand. Violet smiled and patted my shoulder.
"I'll be back." I whispered her .

I kissed her forehead and went to the car as my kids were laughing and smacking eachother. They saw me and go in the car as I hopped in.

"Where we going?" Vincent asked.

I bit my lip and looked at Lark.
"Hopefully to save your mom."
Lark said.

They stayed quiet as we rode up to my old house . I got out and looked around.
Since my dad died I never came back here because .. There isn't a point. My mom left went off somewhere . Didn't call or anything.
