Chapter 16.

Something terrible has happened .

Vikki's POV:

Chapter 16.

I watched as they dragged her away, tear's were running down my face. She didn't fight them but she knew it was over for her.
I couldn't handle it.. She told me she loved me and I felt hateful for not saying it back.

"What should we do." Vanessa cried to me.

I looked at her and Vincent as they cried. I rubbed Vanessa's cheek. She was shaking and scared.
I was too.

"I don't now.." I told her.

I stood up with the help of Amy and Sara.

"We have to think of a way to help her." Vincent said.

I looked at them and smiled lightly.
"You don't know the Council like we do, yall are still young."

"Are they going to kill her." Vanessa asked.

Everyone froze. It was quiet because nobody knew the answer .

"I don't know."
I told her as I walked up the stair's to my office as the followed me .

I sat down on my chair and made phone call's. We would need help from other Alpha's if there was a case against her.

Of course Alvin agreed and was very upset. He said he would be over.

I hung up on two people who declined me and said she deserved what she get's.
Ungrateful ass.

"I'll stand before them and confess. I was in this as well, she shouldn't go down alone."
Violet spoke up from the door way.

"As will I" Vanessa added.
Vincent was saying something her pulling her arm as she ignored him.

"Your to young to stand on the jury." I sighed looking at her.

"I have to do something, we can't let them to this to mom!"

I smiled and patted my lap as she came and sat on it. I understood she was upset.
She hugged me tight.

"We will get her back." I whispered.

She nodded sniffling.

"How can I help." Alvin's voice made everyone look at him as he was breathing hard.

"You ran here?" Jason asked shocked.

"Hell yes. Melissa and everyone here is family." He responded as Vincent hugged him.

"God stop growing." He laughed.

Vincent smirked.

"They took her, I don't know what to do"

"How did they even find out?"

"They watch us, I'm not shocked they didn't now. Or why they didn't stop you."

"They must want something from her than?" Sara spoke up.

"What in the word does Melissa have to offer?" Kyle asked

Even I couldn't answer that because all I know is my mate was lying to me and hiding things from me.

I rubbed my head and tried contacting her. But she blocked me out.
I was getting aggravated. What else was she hiding that I didn't know ?

"We need to call the council." Lark spoke.

"Tried no answer ."

"We will go out and see if we can sense her." Melissa's mother said.

I stared at her.
"Council member's cover up everything. There will be no trace of her. Not even a Vampire can find a wolf."

She frowned as her husband rubbed her arm's. Her brother was no where in sight. Which was odd.

"For now.. We wait." I told everyone.

"Wait.." Vanessa frowned.

I nodded .
"That's all we can do." I told her.

She sighed.
"Princess. Why don't you help me and Sara make diner for everyone ." Amy smiled.

Vanessa for up and walked out with them as I thanked Amy in mind link.

"No problem."

"How can we just sit and wait." Kyle groaned.

"Go for a run, train something if your mad. We all need relax about this. Us worrying will kill us."

Everyone nodded agreeing

"I'll take the boy's back out to train." Jason replied putting an arm around Vincent as they left.

Kyle looked at me.
"I'll go for a run." He walked away.
I know it pained them. Because Melissa was there Alpha, I was just there friend.

Lark stood by me as I called more people. He wrote thing's down for me.
Once in awhile he brought me water or something to keep the headache's away.

Amy and Sara called for diner and I was surprised how fast.

Me and Lark made our way down there with everyone as they gathered.
Vanessa was putting thing's on the table.
We eat like a family.
Which mean's there are huge ass table's. Some war here and other's outside. Where tables are or just around in the living room.

I sat at the end table and Vanessa was on my right and Vincent on my left.
We were having , Mashed potatoes , corn, steak, and veggies.

"Look's good , Amy, Sara and Vanessa."

"Thank's dig in."

Everyone was putting thing's on there plate's and talking normally to one another.
I looked at Melissa's empty seat and looked away. This was weird and I knew everyone noticed but no one said anything.

I grabbed the mustard for my steak and some salt.
Vanessa passed me the pea's and beans as she looked at me.
Pain was written on her face .

As I grabbed the ketchup pain hit me like brick's. I stood up throwing the chair back grabbing my chest screaming.

"Daddy??" Vanessa yelled for me.

Lark was at my aid expecting me. Violet was there asking me what's wrong. I couldn't a answer my throat and every part of me is on fire.

"It's hurts!" I yelled .

Violet and two other's came over and helped me on the floor as I held my chest.

"VIKKI!!!!!!" Melissa yelled loudly.

My Alpha eye's came out as I roared loudly the window's in the kitchen shattered .

Some covered there ear's.
As I roared out to her than stopped by coughing in some air.

"Holy shit! That was cool!" Vincent said.
Vanessa smacked him rolling her eye's.

"What happened ?" Kyle asked worried.

I sat up as I felt empty.
"I heard her.. She called for me, I was on fire, my chest .. Everything."

Violet sighed and stood up looking down at me.
"That mean's to things.."

I looked at her as my kid's came to my side holding me.

"What"

"Melissa is in terrible pain and something happened."

"Or?" I asked.

She swallowed and looked at me.
"She is gone."
