Chapter 116.

Farewell My Sweet Child.

THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTER! THAN BOOK THREE WILL BE RELEASED IN A COUPLE DAYS!

Chapter 116:

Today was the day i put my daughter to rest. We were burring here near Vikki's father and other member's who have passed on.. Our children aren't supposed to die before us.. its just wrong. But did god have another purpose for her up there?

I slid on my black dress as i stared at myself in the mirror. I hated this color and I hate it on myself.

Vikki's hands slid around my hips as I frowned and adverted my gaze, this was gonna be the longest day in our lives.

Every wolf, Every Family or friend will be here today to say goodbye. I will try and hold back everything, all the anger and regret i have for this day.

"You look great." She whispered.

"I feel wrong.." I said with a shaky laugh as i walked away to put my flats on.

Thankfully we have someone watching Hope so she doesn't cry during the funeral, but she will be there after the after diner.
My hair hung low on my shoulder's as i watched Vikki put a cute suit on, She slowly buttoned up her buttons with shaky hands. I got up and helped her. She kept her gaze on me as she kissed my head.
"We can do this."

"No we cant, but were willing to try." I told her taking my leave.

She followed behind me as we were the first to leave and get in the car's. Vincent and Kat were in the back seats. They were quiet but i knew what everyone was thinking, Was this really real? Was she really gone and not coming back..

As we got to the burial grounds, Vikki walked hand in hand with me . Everyone gathered around and sat in seats quietly. 
I sat next to Vincent and Vikki as we held eachother's hands.

I was shocked to see the council here along with Johnny who looked sadden but didn't speak to me.

The preacher began to speak as I stared at my daughter's casket.. was there anything I could have done to make this not happen.. she was my baby, she is leaving us behind.

I gripped Vikki's hand as the tears streamed down my cheek's.

Clan's from everywhere around the area came for support, I was happy because I knew I wasn't alone in this.. Vanessa wasn't leaving us, she was in our hearts and soul.

Vincent busted out crying covering his face as I turned to look at my boy, I wrapped my arms around him and let him cry in my arms. His twin.. his sister, gone. He was hurting like the rest of us.

"Im so sorry.." I whispered to him. "I will not let you go into depression, she wouldn't want this.. You have Hope you need to look after now.. Im sorry I was a horrible mother, I should of protected her more than I did.." I whispered to him.

He looked up at my face as he grabbed my shoulder's. "This.. this isn't your fault, none of this is. Your a great mother.. But her time has come and the god's knew this and didn't warn us.. They want us to cherish this moment and become stronger together." He said as he eyed me and everyone else. 

Everyone's attention was to him.

"We lost a important person, My other half.. A daughter, A friend, A child of god, But Im not sad she is gone because she isn't gone, She is watching over us right now and laughing that were crying over her.. She was a caring human being and I believe god knew it was her time and I know this will bring my family together as one.. But we will not stop until these beast's are caught and killed before us.. But that isn't the time now.. Now we remember my dear sister." He sniffed and walked over to her casket and laid his hand on it and smiled.

My eye's were filled with tear's from his sweet words. Vikki came over and wrapped an arm around me. "He is growing up to fast.." She whispered to me.

I shook my head and smiled at my boy, Kat approached him as they hugged. 

"Are we really gonna be able to handle this once everything is over with.. Getting married after all this?" I asked her.

She sighed and looked at me. "As a family we can achieve anything my love." She smiled kissing my head as she walked off to thank people for coming.

I stood there and looked at everyone who have gathered, Vikki's pack, My small pack, And other pack's from around the area came to join.. Losing a wolf was like losing someone in the community. 

I spotted Johnny as I approached him, He softly hugged me, He was still part of my pack even if he was part of the council.

"Thank's for being her Johnny."

"Of course, I am sorry.. Even the council is in shock.. We have no clue who those creatures are.. All we know is of the horrible sound they make and that they are dangerous.. We advising all Pack's to stay close to there territory." He told me.

I nodded my head, My home wasn't the same since that day, We have been at Alex's until today.. We came back for the funeral.

"When you find out where they are and are located.. Come directly to me. Not Vikki." I said walking away. I felt his eye's on me as I walked away.

I walked over to the casket, As they slowly began to lower it. Tear's fell from my cheek's as I grabbed Vincent and Vikki's hand. We squeezed hands as I softly cried watching it disappear.

Slowly everyone began to walk away and back to the pack house for a little gathering, Food and talk.. I stood there as It slowly began to rain, Vikki grabbed the Umbrella and held it over us. Vincent walked away with Kat as me and Vikki stood there soaking everything in.

"Hope is going to need allot of protection-

"We don't want to smother her, but I agree.. Both of our kids. Because Ill be damned if I lose another child." I walked away as she stayed behind.

As I got back to the house and changed into warm clothe's, I went and got Hope from her crib, Luckily someone watched her for us while everything went on. 

I looked at Hope, as she just giggled and smiled at me. She didn't know what was happening, nor did she understand, It will be tough to tell her when she get's older.

She cooed at me as I smiled and brought her down stair's for other member's and friends to meet our little hope. 

She would laugh and giggle at everyone who approached her, I couldn't help but smile at how precious she was. Amy and Sara joined in with her cute little kid's . 

I smiled and turned my head as I looked over at Vikki, She was in deep conversation with other Alpha's as she smiled and laughed. I was happy to see her smile.. It was a sad day but were still able to smile.

This isnt the end.. It just the begining for our little bean.
