Chapter 53

(Small note! I am writing another book! It's not out yet of course.  It's another GirlxGirl! I'll let you know!)

Chapter 53:

VANESSA'S POV:

I sat in this cell for the past week, I missed my mom and dad and brother.. I wanted to go home. But I knew they were looking for me and I would get away sooner or later.

I looked over at Kat as she slept quietly next to me. There were loads of girls in these cells. Some older and younger EVEN BABIES! This was so scary.

"What's your name." A girl asked .
She had a tattoo on her arm looked around 16?

"V-Vanessa" I whispered.

"Lana " she said smiling .

"Where are we?" I asked quietly as some people were sleeping.

"You don't now" she said.

I shook my head as she got close to the bars. We were in different cells.

"There called demons. They took us, looking for the gifted child."

"Demons.." I said.

Her green eyes looked into my blue one's as she smiled and placed a hand on mine.
Sparks went up my hand.
Our eyes met as I pulled away shocked.

"Mate." She said.

"W-What.. I have a mate.. Two actually"

(Didn't see that coming!)

She stared at me shocked. But only nodded.
She held my hand as we didn't talk about the whole being mates.

"Who is the gifted child?"

"No one know's."

We were quiet as the door's opened.
She squeezed my hand and pretended to sleep. Her eye's never left mine as I was shaking In fear.

They threw a girl in the cell. Her heart beat was dull almost gone.

They said something in another language as they walked out slamming the door.

An older girl walked over and worked on the dying girl. She was weak and had bruises and marks all over her body.

"W-What did they do"

"That's how they see if we're special." She said.
"They take as much blood as they need and beat us.. To see if anything happens."

Tears came out my eyes .
She noticed and squeezed my hand.

"I wanna go home." I cried lightly.

"I won't let them hurt you." She said .
I looked at her as the door's opened again.
My eyes snapped to the door.

My cell was being opened as they  grabbed Kat. She was already pale and weak. She was screaming and thrashing in the demon's hands.

"No!!" I screamed letting go of Lana's hand.
I jumped on the back of him as he launched me backwards.

"Take me!" I yelled.

"No!" Lana yelled through the bars.

"Take me. I'm stronger" I said as they through Kat and grabbed me.

The girls aided Kat as she screamed for me.
He grabbed me over his shoulder as I looked at Lana yelling for me.

I smiled as one of them hit me in the head.

I woke up groaning and tried moving but failed. I pulled at my hands that were strapped down and so were my legs.

"W-

That language made me open my eyes and look at them all. They placed something on my head.

"P-Please I don't now who this gifted one is ple-

The turned the machine on as I screamed in pain. Thousands of bolts went into my body making me shake and scream from the pain.

They turned it off and out something into my arm like needle. I started throwing up blood as they turned it back on and I screamed more tightening my grip on the chair as I grinned my teeth together.

Stay strong. My wolf said to me.

Tears came out my eyes as I cried for my family.

They turned it off and put more shit into my arms. I felt my bones break which made me scream louder.

It will heal. My wolf said to me.

I blacked out as they lifted me up and down a hall way.
I was in and out on consciousness.

The door slammed open as I was being thrown back into the cell. The door slammed shut as they yelled .

"Vanessa!" Kat screamed coming to me.

I couldn't talk, my throat burned and everything hurt.

"Is she okay! Help her" Lana said.

Kat smelled me and coughed.
"Wolves bane in her system! Broken bones.. Bruises.. I can't tell.. If my mom was here..-

"La-NA." I coughed out reaching for her.

She reached and took my hand. She was taking some of the pain away as Lana groaned and held me tight.

"Stop Lana. You'll  hurt your self" a girl pleaded.

Lana didn't let go as she stared at my eyes.
"I can't.." She whispered. "She is my mate" she said crying .

I smiled lightly as I blacked out from the pain.
