Vampire's vs Werewolves (part 2)

Chapter 74;

Loads of talking was going on, I couldn't open my eyes. They were closed shut from the world around me.. What was going on and what was happening.. I couldn't tell you.

I tried moving my hands or fingers as pain escalated my body so I stopped trying .

Was I dead or in a coma?

But what I remember.. My mate.. Is she..

I tried harder forcing my self awake,

'Lola!' I called my wolf.

I was alone, she was gone and quiet. What is going on?

I blinked twice as lights bothered my eyes. I blinked again turning my head, I was in the pack house .. Infirmary.

I turned my head seeing Vincent come to me, his eyes blood shot red. Why has he been crying .
Vanessa was in the corner sobbing away.
I blinked again trying to clear my head .
Everything was fuzzy and unclear.

I sat up as my brother came running over .
"Take it easy." He said to me. His voice came out weird and raspy. I looked up and his eyes were also red .

"W-Where is she.. Where is Vikki." I said blinking as my breathing was heavy.

Everyone didn't speak it was like we were playing a game and everyone was winning .

"Melissa." My brother said his voice cracking .

I blinked sitting up, I was getting impatient , why wasn't my mate here. I had a huge headache . Everything hurt.. My mate wasn't-

"Where is she!" I demanded.

Vanessa sobbed harder as I looked at me son. He kept his eyes to the floor .
My brother sighed and held my hand as I looked at him.

"We all saw it, she was stabbed , blood everywhere... Melissa the body is gone when we all woke up." He said .

I took everything in blinking as I balled my fist.
"What are you implying!" I yelled .

He bit his lip.

"What are you saying !" I screamed .
Tears were falling from my face.

"She's gone.." He said to me.

My heart broke.. Everything within me shut down. I couldn't feel I couldn't sleep. I couldn't think..

"No.." I sobbed .

He wrapped his arms around me.

"Noo." I said again as the tears kept coming .

He held me tighter .

"NO!" I screamed crying .

I cried into my brothers arms as I pushed him off me standing up.
"You. You can feel death." I said looking at Vanessa.

Jason was holding her as he held is hand up.
"Melissa-

"Is she dead! You can feel it can't you! That's what banshee's are!" I screamed as I stood up wobbly.

She cried harder.
"I don't know.. Mom please -

"No! You can't say she is gone.. My mate.." I cried dropping to my knee's.
Arms wrapped around me as I cried for hours sitting there.
My son and daughter hugged me as they cried as well.

An hour passed as I was placed inside my room thanks to Jason. I sat there on my bed, eye's blood shot. Nose stuffy , my body achy.
My mate was gone.. She was really gone .

I stood up and walked over to the large mirror . I looked down at my engagement ring as I slid it off my finger . I looked at it as I grabbed a chain and slid the ring in the chain and clipped it around my neck as it dangled about .

Amy and Sara walked in as I stood there looking at my self, I was pale .. All the color around my face was gone .

"I'm alone.. She left me" I said looking at my self .

"Your not alone. You have family who support you and will help you with this ."

"You don't understand." I whispered as the tears fell.

"She left you with something , your baby."

I placed my hands around my stomach as tears kept coming .
"But she left me.. How can I care for them.. "

"With the help of friends" Amy said smiling .

I shook my head as I sniffled .
"I miss her, my wolf won't speak to me."

"She is hurt, give her time" Sara said .

"Easy for you to say, you have mates. Babies that can see and learn who there father is." I snapped annoyed . They didn't know what I'm going through , no one does.

They stayed quiet as I pushed away from them and down the stairs. They followed me as everyone looked at me.

"The council is here." Jason said running to me.

I sighed really not in the mood.

I went over and opened the office door as they stood there. Everyone quiet as I walked in and shut the door sitting down.
Jason stayed to my side .

"What bring's you."

"We're sorry for-

"Don't." I said holding my hand up as I closed my eyes taking a deep breathe than re opening them.

"We have heard there was no body. So how are you sure."

"I can't feel her." I said .

"Melissa I am sorry." Faith said .

Johnny stood there and looked at me. I didn't bother looking at him. If I new where her body is , I would make a witch bring her back like they did Michael and Johnny.

"Yes I have been told." I said .

"We will investigate that. But in the mean time, have you picked a date for burial."

I glared at them as they looked at me.
"Forgive them" Johnny said .

"My mate just passed, I am going through allot and you ask me this, I don't remember inviting you at all." I snapped .

"Melissa" Jason warned .

Everyone was quiet as I glared at them.

"Well on other matter's, you must know something."

I looked up into there eyes.

"As she is now, gone. You will be the Alpha of this pack and yours" faith said .

I blinked a couple times.

"She isn't ready-

"Who are you to say this, these are my people. They lost an Alpha but they have me and trust me." I said .

"Yes but as her brother , the right goes to me."

Everyone turned looking at Michael.

I growled and stood up. Was this his intentions all along?!
