Chapter 42:

The noise in my head became louder as I stayed down to the floor holding my ears glaring at the witches.
One by one they came in.

Vikki tried getting to me as her wolf was out ready to kill.

"Melissa, I hear by say your guilty.. For killing a witch Alice. The head of our cult."

My pack growled and tried moving. Vikki howled an Alpha howl. As more wolves came out.. Alex's pack. He came out looking around and saw me. Lucia was behind him and glared at me.

"What's going on." Alex said.

"Melissa!" Alvin shouted. Seeing me.

I groaned as his voice hurt my ears . I got lower to the ground.

"Alex! Help Melissa !" Vikki shouted.

He looked at her than me. Lucia grabbed him.. I knew this was gonna happen.
The witches watched out every move.

Alex kept still as he looked at me, I groaned from the pain. He dashed towards me leaving a pissed off Lucia.
He grabbed me but was sent flying back knocking me back with him. He groaned and growled.
I couldn't move.. My
Hands were like ice that if I moved, pain shut up my arms.

I stayed still as my kids cried for me as they watched me hiding in the corner. Vincent held her tight watching me in horror.

My kids...

I tried moving my arms and psi shot through me as I cried. I knew Vikki felt a little of it as she groaned and looked at me.

My pack..

They cried moving to me, Sara.. Who was pregnant felt pain and that made me mad. Kyle was taking most of it away as he held her hand taking all the damage.

I moved my other arm letting another scream out as I slowly stood up wobbling from pain.

"It's not working!" A witch said.

I screamed loudly as pain shot through my body. I walked forward inch by inch as everyone watched me , not being able to move. I walked further and further to the witches pissed.

They looked at me in terror as they kept whispering magic at me. The pain kept coming as I felt my lungs going to explode .
My heart felt like it was gonna fail.

The lady came to me and pushed her hand out more screaming words out.

I yelled and ran at her ignoring the pain the came in my body,
People screamed my name as I was gonna tackle her but two girls jumped infront of her.
I was sent flying back with there hands.

I flew back against a wall and felt something break as I collapsed unconscious on the floor.

Vikki's POV;

I stared at Melissa, she wasn't moving.. I didn't even now she was breathing or not.

"Melissa!" I screamed.

"Mommy!!" Vanessa's voice yelled for her.

I groaned and tried crawling to her. Violet walked over to her and kneeled to her. She put her head against her chest and sighed.
"Alive .. Barley.." She looked at me.

I growled and looked at the witches.

"How dare you walk into my house and kill a family member!" Alvin yelled at them.

They said nothing as they looked at me.
"What we did is done. "

The walked away.

"What did you do!" I yelled getting up running to Melissa.

"She won't wake up. That's what's she gets." She said looking at me.

"I'll kill all of you!" I cried screaming.

"Try." She said walking away.

I grabbed Melissa in my arms and held her. She shallow breathing made me break down. I wanted to see her eyes.
"Please don't leave me."

The kids ran over to us crying as they held her hand.
"W-What are we gonna do!" Vincent yelled.

I looked up at Alex as he shook his head not knowing what to do .
I bit my lip and rubbed her cheek.

"There maybe be something." Lucia said walking over to us.

"Why do you care! You hated Melissa! This is your fault-
Amy yelled crying as Alec grabbed her.

She stayed quiet and looked at me. She walked over to Alex as he backed up. He was upset at her. I said nothing , I didn't even look at her.

"The council. They have answers."

"If you didn't notice.. There pissed at her." Jason snapped.

She sighed and came closer as I growled. She stopped dead in her tracks.

"It's the only way.." She said.

"Or you could ask your brother" Kyle said.

"Never." I growled .

"He might be the only option." Sara added sniffling .

"He will want something or someone.. Or her. I can't" she said shaking her head.

"If we don't do anything.. Mom will stay asleep forever?" Vanessa cried.

We all stayed quiet as the sniffles and cried made everyone really think what to do. How can I save my mate while she is on a deep sleep almost a coma. I rubbed my thin across her cold cheek.

"Come back to me." I whispered into her ear.

"Please.." I whispered.
Tears fell down my cheek as I lifted her up in my arms hugging her. I didn't like how it felt empty.. She was limp in my arms. Almost dead like.

"What we can do now, is I can watch after her. In the pack infirmary. While everyone figures something out." Violet said.

I nodded as I got up with her in my arms following Violet to the infirmary.
She opened the door and pointed to the bed.

I laid her down and put a blanket on her.

Violet came over and stuck a feeding needle in her arm. It was for food and water.

"Now get out there and find someone to help us."

I nodded and walked off and up to my office. Everyone was there waiting. I smiled that they were all worried and wanted to help.

"Where do we begin." Lark asked.

I placed a big book on the table.
"We need to find these fucking witches"
