Chapter 100:

I blinked my eyes open as I looked around the small infirmary room. I was still home.. I was still alive which is a good sign right?

"Your awake." Violet said coming over to me.

"Yeah.." I said with a scratchy throat.

She handed me water as I took it , the nice liquid ran down my throat and it felt amazing .

"You were alseep for two days.." she told me .

"Really?" I said shocked trying not to choke .

She nodded her head checking my vitals .

"Vikki?"

"She has sent word, they are doing okay and with the hunter's . She really didn't give in detail. She has been trying to contact you but you have been asleep." She told me .

Thank god, she is safe ..

"How is my kids? Didn't destroy anything-

"No, actually Vincent is taking care of the pack while Vikki is out and he is doing amazing. Not like last time , getting to know everyone in the mixed pack. Asked if I needed help with anything , he is becoming quite the man." She winked at me .

"Ugh.. don't tell me that , I still wanna baby him." I giggled .

She smiled at me .
"I understand.. Kat has been distant lately, she won't talk to me.. I tried asked Vanessa but even she was upset about something .. " she sighed shaking her head.

"Teenagers ." I smirked.

"I know I'm not her mother.. but I see her as one of mine, my wolf instincts kick in." She told me .

"Because she is your cub, she doesn't have to be your's for her to be ." I smiled rubbing her hand .

She smiled at me and sighed relaxing .
"Your right . I'm worrying for nothing ."

"No , you need to worry. That's what makes us mother's. I worry about my kids all the time, I worry for Hope's well being.. she is human but gifted.. she is to be raised around wolves who will protect her .. I worry about Vikki, Vanessa and Vincent ." I smiled .
"Worrying makes who we are . It isn't a bad thing ." I told her .

"Maybe your right ." She laughed getting up checking her note book.

I coughed hard into my hand , I pulled away to see black liquid.. I stared at it. Violet came over as she noticed and sighed grabbing napkins.

"Hope isn't the only one who needs protection from us.." she said .

"What?" I questioned .

"Try talking in link.. try talking to Vikki."

I focused on something else in the room.. my mind was blank, it was like a dark whole.
"I-I can't.." I looked at her .

"Vikki was trying to contact you the whole time we talked yet you didn't notice.." she bit her lip rushing off .

"What does this mean Violet?" I questioned watching her work around the infirmary grabbing tools and writing things down .

She grabbed a scalpel and brought it to my arm.
"Do you trust me."

I nodded slowly .

She made a small cut along my arm as the blood fell down. She covered it with cloth.

She removed the cloth as I was shocked ..

It wasn't healed.. yet it kept bleeding .

"Your not healing .." she said as she wrapped the bandage around my arm.

"What is this.. what's happening !" I shouted .

She bit her lip and came over to me sniffing me.
She backed off and sat down. She grabbed my hands .

"Melissa.. I don't know how this is even possible.. but .. you don't have any smell of a wolf , yet the smell of a-

"Human.." I finished off her sentence .

She nodded slowly . I started freaking out as I pulled off her and pulled the cover's off me standing up wobbly. I went over to the mirror and grabbed it .

I stared at myself trying to bring my wolf out.. my Alpha eyes.. yet nothing happened . I gripped the mirror and screamed .

I pulled back and punched the mirror shattering it, glass was in my knuckles as Violet grabbed my hand. I fell to my knee's and cried .

This can't be happening ..

I started hyperventilating as I backed up away from Violet.
"Melissa! Vikki is on her way, calm down....

I couldn't hear her but only my heart beating rapidly in my chest.. I'm not a wolf.. I was human, what is happening.. i can't be the Alpha to my pack, I can't -

The door opened with a slam as Vikki came over to me kneeling down. My eyes met her's and I screamed crying to her . Her frown made me cry more as she  hugged me into her arms.

Violet left the room leaving us in there .

"I'll figure this out I promise I-

"I can't communicate with you anymore, I can't feel you.. I can't-

"You are still you." She grabbed my face .
"You are still the Melissa I fell in love with, it does not matter if your supernatural like we are.. your still you."

"B-But.. I can't do this.. I-

"You grew to be a human all your life before you met me.. things are bound to happen.. we don't know if this is even permanent.. we don't know what to think. Right now I need you safe , here ."

I kept crying shaking my head.

"This will not be easy." She whispered .

"No!" I pushed her off me which was hard because.. I'm weak. I stood up and walked to the door swinging it open as Violet watched me walk away.

"Melissa!" Vikki shouted .

I spotted Jason .. my pack all around, they stopped to look at me. It was quiet as tears ran down my face .

"Y-You know.." I said to them.

Sarah and Amy stepped forward as I backed up.
"Melissa.." Amy frowned .

Alvin, Alex and Alec looked at me with such sorrow in there eyes ..

I balled my fist and looked at them all.
"I'm not your Alpha anymore ."

Sarah stepped forward and grabbed my hand as she smiled at me .
She showed me the mark.. our marks..

"You have this, this makes you our Alpha, just because you aren't like us does not make you different. "

"She is right, You'll always be our Alpha Melissa." Fred and Donny smiled coming forward.

Jason and Kyle smiled coming close to me as well.
I couldn't stop the tears from falling.
They all grabbed my hand and held onto me.

"You saved us." Carla stepped forward with her husband and son.
"You our Alpha.. until the day your heart stops beating ." She said placing her hand on our's.

"Everyone.." I cried harder.

Arm's reached around me as they comforted me but added there hand in the circle.
"No one can change who you are, and that's our friend." Johnny said with a smile.
