The moment they stepped through the entrance of Pinto Art Museum, the group's pace slowed—not because anyone told them to, but because the place had a way of demanding it.

White walls stretched into open courtyards. Vines crawled over stone pathways. Sculptures sat quietly beneath the trees as if they'd always belonged there.

For about five seconds...

Everyone admired the view.

Then Lindtsey clapped her hands once.

"Okay!"

Gwen sighed immediately.

"There it is."

"I have an idea."

"That makes it worse," Gwen muttered.

Chico chuckled beside her. "I haven't even heard it yet."

"You don't need to."

Lindtsey spun around to face them, already grinning.

"Photo challenge."

Yves looked up from the museum map she had just picked up.

"...Go on."

"Everyone gets assigned one person."

Christine immediately pointed at herself.

"I volunteer to be everyone's subject."

"No," Gwen answered flatly.

"No?" Christine looked offended.

"No."

The group laughed.

Lindtsey pulled out her phone.

"I already made the assignments in the car."

"You WHAT?" Aiah blinked.

"I got bored."

"That checks out," Chico said.

Lindtsey cleared her throat dramatically.

"No telling your assigned person. No asking them to pose. Candid shots only."

Yves folded the museum map neatly.

"...There's actually a photography exercise like that."

Lindtsey gasped.

"See? Educational."

Christine looked at Yves.

"You just encouraged her."

"I merely acknowledged the concept."

Lindtsey began reading the assignments.

"Aiah..."

Aiah looked up.

"You have Gwen."

"Easy."

Gwen raised an eyebrow.

"Why do I suddenly feel nervous?"

"Because you should."

"Khae..."

Khae looked over.

"You have Aiah."

The group collectively went quiet for half a second.

Then Chico looked away, trying very hard not to smile.

Gwen caught his eye.

Neither of them said anything.
