The house was unusually quiet.

Not because everyone was still asleep.

But because, for the first time since the girls had arrived in Cebu, no one was in a rush to start the day.

The curtains swayed gently as the morning breeze slipped through the slightly opened windows. Somewhere downstairs, the faint clinking of plates and the comforting aroma of garlic fried rice drifted through the house.

Aiah opened one eye before reaching for her phone on the bedside table.

7:18 a.m.

She stared at the screen for a few moments.

Today was their last day.

Their flight back to Manila wasn't until the afternoon, but somehow, knowing they were leaving made the house feel different.

Quieter.

She sighed softly before sitting up.

Across the room, Christine was lying flat on her back, hugging a pillow dramatically.

Without opening her eyes, she announced,

"I'm not packing."

Francheska looked up from folding her clothes.

"...Good morning to you too."

"I've decided to live here."

Yves didn't even look away from her suitcase.

"You've been here for four days."

"I've grown attached."

"You'll survive."

Christine buried her face deeper into the pillow.

"I don't want to."

Laughter rippled through the room.

Even Khae, who had just stepped out of the bathroom with a towel around her neck, couldn't help smiling.

"I thought you missed your bed."

"I do."

"So?"

"I also miss vacations before they're over."

"That's... surprisingly poetic," Gwen said.

"I have layers."

"You have drama."

"I have both."

Suitcases slowly began filling the room.

The neat organization from the first day had disappeared.

Now everyone was trying to figure out how clothes had somehow multiplied over the past few days.

"Nica."

Christine held up two identical shirts.

"Did these reproduce?"

Nica laughed.

"No."

"Then why do I suddenly have more clothes than I brought?"

"You bought three shirts yesterday."

"...That explains it."

Yves zipped her luggage halfway before glancing toward Aiah.

"What about you?"

"I'm almost done."

"You packed last night?"

Aiah nodded.
