Indigo's POV

"Indigo..."

I just kept staring. Is this real?

I took a step towards this...this man.

"Angel?"

I have to look crazy. I feel crazy. There's no way this man is my brother. I remember a scrawny little brown boy who wanted nothing more then to protect his family.

This man was as tall as Messiah, if not taller. The size of his figure was something I never thought would belong to my brother, but as I looked into his eyes..that scared little boy came through.

"Oh God" I sobbed and threw myself into his arms.

His arms snaked around my waist and he picked me up off of the ground. He held onto me and laid his head on mine

"Angel! Oh my God!" I kept sobbing and gripped onto my brother for support.

"Indigo shh, I'm here now okay? I got you sis. Just take deep breathes" he whispered against my head and then kissed it

Somewhere in the room I heard Messiah tell everyone to leave the room and they followed his orders. Messiah stayed though. I could feel his presence.

I sniffled and was able to wipe my eyes because AJ was supporting my body weight

I slowly got down and looked up at him. I touched his cheek and sobbed again

"It's really you? Angel...look at you!" I had laughed and half sobbed

He cracked the same smile that I prayed for, for 10 years

His thumbs wiped beneath my eyes

"Please, stop crying. This is a happy moment. I've seen too many tears today" he joked and ruffled my hair

I giggled but then looked at him weird

"Too many tears today? What does that mean?"

He chuckled and pulled me into a hug again

"Always were the one to pick up on details" he said and released me to grab his phone from his back pocket

I watched as he clicked around on his phone and turned it around.

There was a picture of a gorgeous Hawaiian woman with a precious newborn on her chest.

I looked up at my baby brother

"Is that?" I asked shocked

He chuckled again and ruffled his own hair

"Yeah..you're an aunt. That's my wife Junelle and my son Khai. He was born today" he smiled and rubbed his thumb over the picture.

"My little brother has a wife and a son" I said and laughed "he's adorable. He looks just like you AJ"

He smiled proudly "yeah, he has his mothers eyes"

I nodded and then smiled at him

"Life has been good to you" I said and started to tear up

He sighed and pulled me into a hug

"Not even close, I've just learn to deal with things. But Indigo, why are you here and why do you have blood on you?" He asked softly

"Uh. I believe that's where I come in" I heard Messiah say

I softly turned in my brother's embrace and looked at Messiah.

Damn he looks fucked up..

"I'm Maj-Messiah" he said and put out his hand for AJ to shake it.

AJ just looked at it and then skillfully put me behind his body

"Look bruh, I was in the military. Infantry, I'm trained to observe everything around me and I'm very good at my job. Just by looking at this place I can tell it's a trap house. Your body language and the fact that everyone seems to listen to you tells me you're the boss and that's fine, by all means, provide how you see fit, but I also know for a fact there's blood on my sister's hands and shirt. I see the fear and exhaustion in her eyes. I also see she's pregnant and by the way your body tensed up when I moved her behind me, I'm thinking that baby is yours. So does anyone, preferably you, wanna tell me what the fuck is going on?"

Messiah smirked and rubbed his hands together

"I'm all for this reunion, fuck I'm the one who made this possible, but what you won't do is step to my place of business and act like you all high and mighty. Yeah, there's blood on her shirt because of something she wanted to do. Your father, that sick and now very much dead muthafucka, kidnapped my daughters and put my family in danger. And yes, Indigo is pregnant with my child. I think you can guess why. Now if yo military ass thinks you can waltz up in here and demand shit like you own this, I'll gladly knock yo ass back to the level where you belong" Messiah said.

His chest was heaving up and down and I knew I had to calm him down.

I slowly stepped out behind AJ and went over to Messiah. I gripped his hands and placed them on my belly. At that very moment his child kicked and Messiah's attention quickly shifted.

I softly kissed Messiah's lips and his black eye

"Calm down baby" I whispered as Messiah started to rub on my stomach

He nodded and let out his breathe

"I know the both of you are men, but can we keep this as civil as possible. I'm exhausted and just want some sleep and I don't need to worry about you two dumb asses trying to kill each other." I said and looked at both of them

"Okay, I'm sorry baby" Messiah said and pulled me into his arms and buried his face into the crook of my neck

AJ closely watched him then looked at me with his eyebrow raised.

I smiled at him and shrugged my shoulders a little

"Let's go home? AJ, how long are you staying?"

"Until Junelle leaves the hospital . Besides, I need to see my niece." He said and smiled

Messiah smiled and leaned down to kiss my stomach

"I'll go outside and wait in the car. Uh..nice meeting you bruh." He said to AJ and extended his hand.

This time AJ shook Messiah's hand.

When Siah left, I turned to Angel

"We have so much to talk about" I sighed

"I know, but we have each other again so stop stressing" he said as he pulled me into his side, kissed the top of my head, and led me outside
