So, while I was writing this chapter, I thought of a possible idea for a sequel, but I'd have to think it through more before I decide to actually do it. In the meantime, this book won't be done for awhile. I hope that you enjoy this chapter, it's a long one ;)

Sherika used her key to quickly open the double doors of the Delta Alpha Kappa house. It was 8 o'clock in the morning and it was pouring rain outside. Meek was standing behind her holding a large umbrella over their heads as she lead them into the expansive foyer in front of the grand double staircase. As Meek shut the door, the only noise that could be heard was the sound of sheets of rain hitting the side of the sorority house. Sherika prayed that the girls would not disturb them and hoped that most of them were still sleeping since it was Sunday morning. She knew that Nicki was sleeping, as she usually slept in on Sundays until around ten. Sherika turned to Meek who was shaking out his umbrella after closing it. He was wearing a blue v-neck t-shirt with black basketball shorts and matching white and blue Nike sneakers. He had on a black snapback over his head that was sporting backwards.
"You couldn't have dressed up for this?" asked Sherika with a grin.
Meek laughed as he leaned his umbrella next to the door, "This is pretty much all I got, and she said I look good in blue, so," he said smiling as Sherika shook her head.
"She told you that?" she asked looking up at him with a grin.
Meek nodded, "Yeah," he smiled.
Sherika laughed as she grabbed the bag of food that he was holding in his hand, "Why you cheesing like that's the best compliment that you ever got in ya life?" she asked as she lead him under the double staircase into the grand marble kitchen, "Or is it because she gave you the compliment?" she said looking back at him with a knowing grin.
Meek laughed, "Why you gotta grill me, Sherika?" he asked as he watched her place the bag of items that he purchased onto the grey marble island in the middle if the medium sized kitchen.
"Because I know you be feeling my bestie up there," responded Sherika referring to Nicki sleeping upstairs in their room, "and I just want you to be honest with me about it, so I can help you get her," she said as she began removing the items from the bag.
Meek watched her take the pancake mix and packs of bacon and sausage out of the bag, "I like her...a lot," he said taking the pack of bacon from her.
Sherika placed the pancake mix on top of the island before walking over to the stainless steel refrigerator, "Yeah?" she asked with a grin as she pulled out a carton of eggs.
She saw Meek nod as he turned on the fire on the stove. He looked around for a pan and found a clean one near the sink on the other side of the kitchen, "Yeah, we got a lot of stuff in common, and she cool, like, I can talk to her for hours," he said as he put the pan on the stove before opening the fresh pack of turkey bacon, "and she's beautiful as hell," he finished as Sherika smiled.
Sherika walked around the kitchen and pulled out a pack of flour from one of the pantries, "Awww Meek," cooed Sherika making Meek laugh, "you really crushing ain't you," she laughed.
"Yeah, forreal though, I can cook, but I don't really like to." he said as he placed four bacon strips on to the pan, "I never really cooked for my girlfriends,"
Sherika smiled, "Nic is making you soft." she said walking back over to the refrigerator to grab some milk,"That night that we came over to chill with y'all, you made the pasta for her, didn't you?" she asked him already knowing the answer.
"Yeah." Meek responded honestly, "Where you got the salt and pepper and shit?" he asked looking back at Sherika.
Sherika pointed at the pantry. She watched him walk over and pull out a jar of salt and another of pepper before heading back over to the stove, "Would you beat up Saforehead again if you could?" she asked pouring the right amount of flour into the large bowl she had placed on to the island.
