Well, it has been a sad day, hasn't it? I'm more than sure you all know what I'm referring to and have seen Nicki's tweet this morning. Like all of you (I'm sure), I am just as sad about the news. I personally don't spend much time concerning myself about celebrities and their lives, in fact, Meek and Nicki are the first celebrity couple I have EVER given two shits about and definitely the first that I've written about. I guess that there was (is) just something about them that made them stand out to me. What that was? I don't know, but I just ran with it, and that's how this book came along.
Some of you may be wondering if I'm going to bother to finish this book, especially after some other writers have expressed that they were not going to continue with their own. After some thought and reading some messages, I've decided that I will finish this book. As far as the sequel(s) I was planning, I'm not sure if I will go through with them, but THIS book will be finished. I plan to give Meek and Nicki the happy ending that they deserve even if they may not be able to have one in real life. I hope that all you will continue to read this book and finish this journey with me!
To those of you who are really taking this break up hard, I hope that this quote will bring you some solace: "If you love something set it free. If it comes back it's yours". Let's hope that these two can keep it clean and classy during the next few months while the media tries to spin whatever happened, because who knows, they may be able to work things out in the end. In the meantime, I plan to continue to give you a world where Omeeka can freely exist.
