Eat Me
Flour, sugar, and a dash of love
Mix it all up and you get me
Stir me, shake me, add a little more
Pour me in a mold and pat me down a bit
Pop me in the oven
I think you know this trick
Set for me the timer
And watch it tick
Tick, tick, tock
There it goes
I’m closer to being finished
I’m golden brown now you know
Tock, tick, tick
Pull me out with an oven mitt
Let me cool
Stuff me with cream
And finally
You can eat me
