Chapter 12: The Uchiha Siblings [Naruto]

I ran with Naruto towards the bridge, the both of us had slept in and Kakashi sensei left with Sakura and Sasuke to guard Tazuna. I guess he thought I needed rest which may or may not have been true. I swung around a branch coming to a stop as I glanced to my side.

“Naruto wait!” He stopped a branch ahead of me and turned his eyes gazing to the injured boar I had noticed.

“What about it?”

“Look around it. I know those marks; my katana makes the same ones.”

“Someone was here?” I nodded.

“And look where there leading to.”  I noticed his eyes widen then at the realization.

“Back to the house”

“C’mon let’s go!” I broke into a run with Naruto close behind; the both of moving faster than we had before. I slid to a stop before the dock catching the sight of two men with Katana’s in hand. In between them lay a woman I recognized to be Tazuna’s granddaughter Tsunami. In front of them was Inari who was running straight for them.

“Get Inari and I’ll get his mom!” Naruto nodded as we ran forward. The two men didn’t notice me as I jumped to the dock and managed to lift Tsunami. I jumped farther away from them sliding to a stop beside Naruto and Inari.

“Sorry about that but heroes usually show up at the last minute. You did great though Inari.” Naruto told him.

“Naruto a-and Rin, but how did you guys…” I laughed slightly as I interrupted him and grinned. 

“Those idiots over there made it pretty obvious they were headed in this direction so we turned around.” 

“Hey it’s two puny ninja brats that Tazuna hired.” I glanced at the two men as I lowered Tsunami and stood straight.

“And who are you?”

“That’s not important.”

“Actually it is, I like to know the names of people I kill.”

“Don’t underestimate us kid.” I smirked slightly as I activated my sharingan.

“I’d never be so careless, unlike you two. Naruto stay here and let me handle this.” I pulled to kunai not waiting for his response as the men ran forward. I made quick hand signs and the moment I was done two water clones grabbed them from behind and held kunai to their neck.

“What the…” I ran forward myself appearing between them and slamming a kunai in their arms. I smirked at their cries and was satisfied when I heard their katana’s drop to the ground.

“Now then who sent you?”

“I won’t tell you anything!” I sighed as I picked up one of their katana’s and held it level to the taller ones heart. I looked at the other.

“Alright tell me or he dies.” He laughed then.

“You’re not a killer.” I smirked slightly.

“That’s what you think.”

“I don’t believe you.” I slammed the katana through his chest then. I heard his breath hitch as I pulled back the blade and he hit the floor. I looked back at the other man.

“Believe me now because you’re next.” I could see the fear in his eyes as I raised the blade to his neck.

“I-It was Gato he sent us for Tazuna’s kid, she’s all we wanted!”
