Chapter 57: The Uchiha Siblings [Naruto]

Rin

I caught Naruto’s body before he hit the ground and managed to hold his weight against my side. The others were frozen probably in surprise more than in fear.

“Alright it’s done; now hold up your end of the deal!” I shouted. I heard a low rumble and felt something grab the back of my shirt. I noticed the brief look of panic cross Shikamaru’s face but he relaxed some once I sent a subtle wink. I felt a hard tug and was engulfed in a temporary darkness before hitting the ground. The sun stung my eyes but I was careful not to drop Naruto’s body.

“I’m impressed Princess, I didn’t think you had it in you.” I ignored him as I carefully put down Naruto and pulled the Senbon from his neck tossing them aside.

“I’ll dispose of the body later.” I told him as I got to my feet.

“Don’t touch him” I warned meeting his gaze, he smirked slightly.

“There is no need for your sharingan Princess, were on the same team now and you’re just wasting chakra you don’t have.” I shrugged.

“Force of habit” I mumbled turning from him.

“H-Hey where are you going?”

“To pee” I replied simply as I glanced over my shoulder. I smirked slightly as his face flushed red.

“Make it quick” He muttered. I gave him a small wave as I walked out of view and ran my hand along the outside of the dome.

“Nine, ten, eleven…” I muttered counting the steps as I continued to circle. I walked past the big guy pausing beside him.

“Hey what’s going on, how did…” I nearly slammed heads with Naruto as I jumped at him landing on his torso and pressing my hands over his mouth.

“Stay quiet” I warned and he nodded as I removed my hand.

“How did we get out?”

“I killed you” I noticed the confused look cross his features.

“Remember the land of wave’s mission, and the hunter Nin Haku, how he put Zabuza in a temporary death state by hitting the pressure points on his neck?” He nodded slightly.

“I did the same to you.” I finished explaining as I slipped off him and got to my feet.

“What about the big guy?” I offered him my hand and he took it using it to pull himself up.

“He’s under my genjutsu, right after he pulled us out I cast it. Now c’mon we have to help the others” I told him pulling him with me. I started counting again and stopped where I was directly across from him.

“Alright back up, this is going to be big”

Shikamaru

I ignored Kiba’s relentless shouting. Another insult towards Rin and I would be ready to make him shut up. I released a sigh needing to focus.

“Kiba shut it!” I shouted releasing some of the pent up anger. He turned facing me then.

“One of our own just killed someone on our squad and you’re acting like she didn’t do anything wrong!”

“She didn’t kill him!” He fell silent then and I sighed.

“Rin is a trained medical ninja; she knows the body parts which includes pressure points. She would know that there are two pressure points in the neck that put someone in a death state. That’s where Rin hit.” I told him. It fell silent again and that’s where I heard it, a faint knock directly across from where I stood, behind Choji, there was the signal.
