Genma [Exam Proctor]
I wasn't worried, well not entirely. I assumed that Kakashi had trained Rin and knew Suki had also contributed to her training. What I was worried about was her ability to control herself, or rather her lack off. Rin excelled in many things and I was quick to realize control wasn't one of them.
"Begin!" I shouted above the crowd.
"Go Rin you can beat her!" I heard Naruto shout. Rin had jumped back a few meters but Jazmine stood there hands on her hips and blonde hair blowing in the wind.
"I guess you're waiting for me to make my move" Rin stated causing Jazmine to smile slightly.
"C'mon Jazz we have a crowd, mine as well show them something."
"You don't even have your sharingan activated." She shrugged and I noticed the cross look in Jazmine's eyes. I knew Rin was playing with her, trying to through her off focus. Jazmine probably thought that Rin thought she wasn't worth the chakra to even bother with the Sharingan. Rin was up to something and she wasn't going throw all her tricks out there in the first few minutes of a match, just as the Hokage had predicted.
"Alright, we'll I warned you." I knew Rin was taken off guard when Jazmine shot forward. The speed at which she moved was near blinding. Rin raised her arms in an attempt for defense as Jazmine jumped up.
"Leaf wind hurricane!" I heard a slight crack as Jazmine's leg came around slamming into her arms. Rin turned her hands and caught her ankle, with a swift turn she flipped Jazmine over and slammed her into the ground. She rolled back on her hands, wasting no time waiting to recover as she sprung back to her feet and slammed her open palm into Rin's chest sending her back a few feet.
"I thought you said you wanted to give them a show" I heard Rin laugh as she sat up and noticed the glint of red in her eyes as they briefly met Jazmine's, her eyes shot down and Rin smirked.
"Smart girl, I guess Asuma Sensei and Gai Sensei taught you a thing or two." Jazmine's hand reached for her kunai as Rin jumped to her feet and shot forward. Rin jumped up as she threw the kunai and continued with her flips and turns dodging every kunai and shuriken that Jazmine threw. Rin slid across and brought her hands together.
"Kakashi warned me about this." Her hand signs were fast and I noticed the panic in Jazmine's eyes as she pulled back her hands. Rin's hand separated suddenly and I noticed the glint of metal wires that crossed most of the arena and led back to Jazmine. Rin smirked as chakra became clear and electric in her right hand.
"Too late" Rin's hand clenched around the wires and the chakra charged through them. I flinched slightly at Jazmine scream that became silent once the chakra finally reached her. I noticed the wire loosen and Rin landed on her knee's as they fell. Jazmine collapsed soon after, her body still jolting slightly from the charge.
"So much for a show" Rin muttered walking past her; I stared at Jazmine for a moment longer before raising my hand.
"Winner of the fourth round Rin..."
"N-Not yet" I froze mid-sentence as I looked towards Jazmine. She moved slowly and her body shook as she got to her hands and knees. I noticed a dark green chakra circling her hands as Rin glanced behind her shoulder.
"I'm not done yet!" She shouted slamming her hands into the ground. I stared in amazement as what looked like vines shot from the ground and raced towards Rin. I noticed the slight alarm in her eyes as she jumped back creating some more distance. Her hands came together again in fast hand signs that I recognized.
"Fireball jutsu!" The fireball slammed into the vines incinerating them as Rin stood straight releasing a breath as Jazmine got to her feet. I noticed Rin smirk.
