Chapter 42: The Uchiha Siblings [Naruto]

I covered my ears as the explosive note went off blowing the bathroom door from its hinges. Itachi should have put a seal. I jumped through the smoke and out the door following my instincts. I knew I shouldn't be doing this but if I played weak right now Naruto could die and Itachi would continue to be suspicious and I really didn't need him to worry too. I slid a stop once I reached a few floors down. There stood Kisame and Itachi and Naruto.

"Naruto move!" I ran forward jumping over Kisame and pushing down his sword with my feet. I launched myself to Naruto catching his waist and pulling him back.

"R-Rin..."

"Rin!" I released Naruto and turned finally meeting eyes that I didn't want to see, not here, not now and not with him.

"Sasuke.." I breathed. I nearly fell back when he ran to me pulling me into a hug. I tensed slightly in shock at his sudden emotion but knew why. He thought he wouldn't fine me alive.

"Long time no see Sasuke." He released me pushing me behind me and placing a protective arm out.

"Itachi Uchiha."

"We'll the sharingan and he looks an awful lot like you." I could hear my heart pounding in my chest and reached for Sasuke arm.

"Sasuke please don't" I whispered but he ignored me.

"I hope you're ready to die." He pushed me back into Naruto as the Chidori appeared in his hand.

"It's like you said Itachi, I've held onto my hatred and lived my life for once single purpose. To see you die, it ends here!" He shot forward then before I could grab him and ran straight for Itachi. I flinched when Itachi caught his wrist and the chidori took out a good portion of the wall. I sensed a sudden blast of chakra and glanced behind me as Naruto took my wrist pulling me behind him, red chakra began to circle him. I noticed Sasuke try to move but with a flick of his hand Itachi snapped his wrist.

"Sasuke!" I tried to run forward but dropped to my knees and bent back Kisame's sword flying over me and cutting through Naruto's chakra.

"W-What the..."

"You're wasting your time kid, my blade can cut through and devour chakra." I bit my thumb and pulled the bandages from my arm. I put my hands together making fast hand signs as Kisame pulled back his sword for another strike.

"Rin no!" I slid the blood down the tattoo.

"Summoning jutsu!" Snakes appeared wrapping tightly around Kisame and his sword. I began another set of hand signs when a pair of hands caught mine.

"Stop" I activated my sharingan before meeting Itachi's eyes.

"Let her go!" Sasuke shouted. I was shoved suddenly towards Kisame as he tore through the snakes and felt a hand catch my arm.

"Keep her out of the way." I heard Itachi demand. I was thrown against the wall with Kisame's sword uncomfortably close.

"One move and your chakra is mine Princess."

"This is very convenient, I can eliminate you both at the same time." I looked towards the owner of the voice and recognized him as Jiraiya.

"Stay out of it!" I glanced back to Sasuke as he struggled to his feet.

"The only one that is going to eliminate him is me!" The feeling came back again as Itachi glanced back at him.

"Go away you are of no interest to me right now."

"We'll get interested!" Sasuke ran forward and Itachi turned raising a leg.

"Sasuke!" I wanted to move forward as he slammed into the wall but Kisame pushed his sword a little closer keeping me in place. Sasuke struggled back to his feet and ran at him once more. Itachi turned blocking his punch and with a single strike sent him back into the wall.
