I looked up as I pushed open the classroom door and held out my hand catching the eraser that had been wedged in the door. I laughed slightly glancing at Naruto.
"Nice try Naruto" I tossed him the eraser and noticed the blush cross his cheeks as I smiled and walked past him.
"Where were you?" I jumped up sitting on the desk Sasuke was at.
"Got lost in the training fields since someone took off angry" He rolled his eyes.
"It's alright Sasuke, just don't worry about it." He nodded slightly glancing back to the door as a familiar masked ninja stepped in. The eraser Naruto had returned to the door fell on his head then to the floor. He picked it up staring it at for a moment before sighing.
"Let's see, how do I put this. My first impression of you is you're a bunch of idiots." I frowned slightly.
"Now let's move to the roof" I followed slightly behind Sasuke though the corridors and up a flight of stairs until finally we were on top of the school. The wind blew softly through the trees as we sat on the steps across from the railing that Kakashi was now leaning against.
"Okay... Let's begin with some introductions"
"Like what?" Sakura questioned.
"How about... Your likes, dislikes, dreams for the future, hobbies, stuff like that," Kakashi says shrugging.
"Well why don't you start and show us how it's done"
"Hmm let me see, my name is Hatake Kakashi. Things I like and things I hate, I don't feel like telling you guys that. Dreams for the future...? Haven't really thought about it, as for hobbies Well, I have lots of hobbies..." He finished.
"That was useless all we really discovered was his name" I head Sakura mutter.
"Now it's your turn, from the right" I glanced to Naruto who had his usual broad grin on his face.
"Believe it! My name is Naruto Uzumaki. I like Ramen in a cup. What I like even more is the Ichiraku ramen Iruka-sensei buys me. What I dislike is waiting 3 minutes for the ramen in a cup to cook. My hobbies are eating different types of ramen and comparing them. My dream for the future is to be the greatest Hokage ever, then that way all the people of this village will stop disrespecting me!" I smiled slightly. Naruto always dreamt big.
"Next" Kakashi says as his eyes landed on Sakura.
"I'm Sakura Haruno, what I like uh...I mean who I like...my hobbies are um...My dreams for the future are..." I suppressed a laugh as she continued squealing and glancing to Sasuke who remained indifferent.
"Alright and what do you hate..."
"Naruto!" It seemed she and Ino were the same; both more interested in boys than ninja training.
"Right, now you there" He motioned to Sasuke and I noticed the hard look in his dark eyes.
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I don't like a lot of things and I don't particularly like anything. What I have is not a dream because I will make it a reality. I will restore my clan and kill a certain someone" The tension in the air could be cut with a knife. It was almost an awkward silence until finally Kakashi spoke up.
"Alright now finally the Princess over there" I sighed and sat up slightly.
"My name is Rin Uchiha. I like that I'm home, I hate when people refer to me as Princess..." I could see the slight smirk beneath his mask.
"My hobbies are training mostly or hanging with a few friends and my dream for the future..." I stopped then pondering this and I could feel the gazes from the others landing on me. I smiled slightly and shook my head.
"Nah, I don't need to go into detail about that." I heard a sigh from Sakura and merely shrugged. I wasn't sure what to call it. It wasn't a dream it was a promise. To keep that promise I made with my father the same day of the massacre.
"Good you're each unique and you have your own ideas. We'll have our first mission tomorrow; a task that the four of us will do together." I raised my eyebrow slightly as I looked up at him.
"A survival exercise"
"Wait aren't we supposed to have a real mission, I thought we finished with practice back at the academy that's why we're here" Sakura began to argue.
"This is not like your previous training..." I smirked slightly. I highly doubt that any training could be like the Akatsuki.
"Of the twenty eight graduates that came here only ten will be accepted as Genin. We'll with the exception if this team doesn't past then only nine will be accepted as Genin. The others will be sent back to the academy. So in other words this is a make it or break it, pass or fail and the chance that you'll fail is at least 66%" I smirked again.
"Then what was the point of that graduation exam!?" Naruto shouted.
"That was just to select candidates that might become Genin. I decide whether you pass or fail. So we'll meet at the designated training area at 5 am, bring you're ninja gear." I glanced at the others and realized that I was the only one who hadn't lost their cool. Though I would miss my usual Katana, Itachi warned me that most genin don't have such advanced weaponry.
"That's it you're dismissed, oh and tomorrow you might want to skip breakfast or you'll puke." I rolled back on my hands and pushed myself up to my feet. Easy enough, I rarely ate back in the Akatsuki or rather as Pein and Madara put it, I did a lot of endurance training. Regardless this would be an interesting test.
