"Kakashi you need to relax, you have to feel his movements and respond accordingly." I nodded slightly listening to Rin. She had calmed down some; the dangerous atmosphere had disappeared slightly.

"So we have to play defence" She nodded.

"There's no such thing as complete silence. Trust me even he makes noise." It was hard to believe when we couldn't see or hear anything but I trusted Rin. She knew the opponent better than I did and has had similar training if she was an assassin too.

"But where will he strike next?" I asked. It fell silent again then we seemed to realize it at the same time.

"The bridge builder!" We both ran through the mist. Rin broke of heading straight for Tazuna and Sakura as I slid in front of them.

"To slow" I heard them slam into the railing as Zabuza brought down his blade.

"Kakashi!" I groaned slightly as it made contact a moment later I felt an arm around my waist and slammed into the ground.

"Crap you're heavy" I looked up at Rin catching her wrist as she moved to heal me.

"Save your chakra, you'll need it."

"Kakashi don't be stupid..."

"You're being stupid if you think you can spare an ounce of chakra!"

"I'll be fine you jerk! You're the idiot that got in the way!"

"It was either me or you and you've been hurt once already by him!" We both looked up as Zabuza chuckled.

"You're feelings for each other is what's slowing you both down." Rin raised her eyebrow.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"The great copy ninja and his foolish crush on the Uchiha Princess."

"Go to hell you have no idea what you're talking about!" He chuckled again as he formed a hand sign.

"This makes things a little more interesting, but you two better pick it up otherwise I'll finish you sooner. I'm sure you're brother and his stupid friend are taking their last breaths at this moment. Soon Haku will join me and you'll both be finished." I noticed Rin sigh as he disappeared. She got to her feet and offered me her hand.

"The moment this battle is over regardless of the condition I'm in I'll heal you, deal?" I sighed as I took her hand and she pulled me to my feet.

"Deal" She nodded. I kept hold of her hand as I looked back at Sakura.

"Stay with Tazuna." She nodded.

"Good luck" I nodded before pulling Rin with me into the mist. It was important to stay together in this otherwise he'd take us out one on one. I felt Rin pull on my hand and turned to her noticing the expression on her face.

"Rin what's...?"

"Sasuke, something's happened to Sasuke I-I can feel it." She met my gaze as if expecting something of me.

"You need to focus Rin I'm sure he's fine." She nodded slightly and forced a smile.

"Y-Yeah I'm sure you're right." I would have continued it but then I sensed it; an overpowering deadly chakra. It couldn't be Zabuza. There was no chance, I knew this chakra. It was the nine tails. I felt Rin's hand tighten around mine.

"Rin what..."

"I'm fine just; we need to figure this out." I nodded finally releasing her hand and pulling a scroll from my vest. I clipped it open and used the blood from my chest to draw across it. I spun it a few times and put my hands together in a hand sign.
