Chapter 50: The Uchiha Siblings [Naruto]

I thought that was it, again, now that Naruto couldn’t beat Aoi and we were ahead of the others. Plus the Uchiha kid went to look for his sister. It was just us two, with the sword of the thunder spirit is his hand I doubted that anyone could beat him. I braced myself as he raised it but heard the clash of metal and turned only to see Sakura and Sasuke with Rin on his back.

“Excellent timing!” Naruto shouted.

“Don’t sweat it Naruto, just sit back and leave this clown to me.” I watched as he carefully slipped Rin from his back and Sakura took her waist helping her stand. It made me wonder what was wrong.

“It doesn’t make any difference how many of you there are, I’m Aoi of the rain and I wield the blade of the thunder spirit” I glanced back to Sasuke who didn’t seem impressed in the least.

“Is that so?” His eyes widened as they turned to the red of the sharingan, though I noticed that they didn’t have the same intensity that Rin had when I saw hers.

“The blade of the thunder spirit against my Chidori” I stared slightly wide eyed as the chakra in his hand became visible and chirping seemed to erupt from it.

“Let’s find out which ones stronger!” He shot forward a moment later and Aoi raised his blade taking the hit full on. The yellow current of the blade hit Sasuke and he jumped back pulling a kunai only to clash with Aoi.

“Hn I always heard that the last survivors of the Uchiha clan were worthless losers not worthy of their family name” Aoi taunted and push Sasuke back.

“Sasuke!” Rin seemed to push from Sakura and slide on her knees next to Sasuke. She placed her hands flat against his chest and they began to glow green, the same green she had used to heal me. I noticed Aoi’s eyes on her and jumped to my feet then.

“Run Rin he’ll show no mercy, just get away while you still can!” I noticed her fists curl slightly as she shook her head.

“No, we gave our word to protect you and now this idiot has made it personal.” Her eyes met his then and I noticed him flinch slightly under the blazing red gaze of her sharingan.

“He needs to learn that you don’t mess with the Uchiha and get away with it.” Her hands left Sasuke as she was about to stand but his hand suddenly caught her wrist stopping her.

“Take it back.” He started as he slowly got to his feet and pushed Rin behind him.

“What are you talking about?”

“I’m warning you, don’t mess with me” He put his hand out the chidori reappearing.

“I am Sasuke of the leaf village one of the last of the Uchiha!” He shot forward then, the intensity in his eyes nearly matching Rin’s as his Chidori clashed again with Aoi’s blade.  I thought he had him, it looked like he did until his Chidori died down and the yellow current of the blade surrounded him as Aoi lifted him.

“Sasuke!” But Rin’s scream was lost behind Sasuke’s. Aoi turned slightly throwing Sasuke onto the bridge and he his body landed limp with a hallow thud on the wood planks.

“It’s a long way to the bottom of the sea” He raised his blade hitting one of the ropes and in the same moment Rin ran forward, faster than I thought she could move. She slid on her knee’s just missing Aoi’s swing and jumped forward catching Sasuke’s hand and one of the stray ropes.

“Rin!” Sakura shouted. I could see her struggling to hold Sasuke’s weight as she attempted to lift them back to Safety but Aoi turned.

“Fast little Princess aren’t you?” He chuckled as Rin glared at him.
