Sakura
I woke up surprised to find the bed empty beside me. Rin and I had shared her bed and we dragged Sasuke’s mattress along with the mattress from the guest room into hers for Ino, Jazmine, Tenten and Hinata. I sat up smoothing out my hair and looking around the room; the other girls were still asleep. I sighed noticing that beside Ino was an empty space where Jazmine had been last night; she was already gone for her early morning training session. I crept quietly around them and slid open her door silently closing it behind me. The smell of tea haunted the halls along with other sweet smells of breakfast. I could hear sizzling from the kitchen and carefully made my way around the still sleeping guys in the living room. I stepped into the kitchen to find Rin still in her pyjamas and Sasuke’s hoodie flipping bacon in a pan. Neji leaned on the counter across from her sipping tea. It was odd to see him in sleep wear and his hair loose.
“Good morning Neji, Rin.” They both looked up Rin looking more startled then Neji but a smile came to her face.
“Morning Sakura, sorry if we woke you.” I shook my head smiling slightly.
“No, not at all how long have you two been up?” She shrugged.
“A few hours, I heard Lee get up and he said he was going for a light jog around the village with Gai sensei. That was around six I think. Then at eight Jazmine got up for her morning training session and Kiba was already up with Akamaru to walk her there and then I tripped over Neji on my way to the kitchen” I couldn’t help but laugh slightly at this.
“Well help yourself; I still have to make more because Choji eats like it’s his last meal and I’m sure Kiba will be coming back. So I think I may have to go out and buy some more. This is just what Sasuke and I had for us so there isn’t much.” She explained and I nodded in agreement.
“So what are the plans for today?” I asked taking a cup from the counter and pouring myself some tea.
“We’ll you and I could hang around town, maybe visit the hot springs since I’m sure most of the others will have their missions, training and such to…” She trailed off when there was a loud knock on the door. I noticed her raise her eyebrow as she placed the spatula on the marble countertop.
“Who do you think it is?” I asked.
“Maybe Lee is back from his run but I left the door open.” She wondered out loud as the knocking came again. Neji and I followed Rin as we weaved our way around sleeping bodies. Personally I was surprised they were all still sleeping so peacefully considering the commotion. Rin reached the door first and gently pulled it open as Neji and I walked up behind her. I was surprised that it wasn’t Lee standing in his green spandex and usual grin on his face from training even though in his condition he really shouldn’t have been. Instead stood two Anbu with their masks covering their faces, one of them held a scroll in hand and the other seemed to be looking at Rin.
“Princess Rin” He inquired and I noticed her sigh as her hands rested on her hips.
“There’s no Princess in this apartment just Rin Uchiha” I heard a sigh come from beneath one of the masks that may have been accompanied by a roll of the eyes.
“Rin Uchiha, this is you I presume?” He asked again and this time she nodded.
“Yeah that’s me why do you ask? Is there a problem?” She questioned as he opened the scroll.
“By the order of Danzo Shimura the Princess of the Uchiha clan, Rin Uchiha will be taken in for questioning about Itachi Uchiha and his current actions regarding the Akatsuki.” I looked at Rin who starred with confusion in her dark eyes.
