Chapter 54: The Uchiha Siblings [Naruto]

I nearly tripped when I practically barged into the Inuzuka household two women looked up and I paused long enough to bow.

"I'm sorry for barging into your home like this, and not using any formalities but I need Kiba for an urgent mission is he home?" The younger of the two nodded.

"Yeah I'll go get him for you Princess." I bowed again.

"Thank you and please hurry." She nodded and took off down the hall with a dog close behind her. The other woman, I assumed was his mother.

"Would you mind if I asked the nature of this mission?"

"I'm sorry Ma'am but it's classified, as of now Lady Tsunade requests that we keep it only within the members of the team that are going." She nodded slightly.

"Ah right, of course."

"I'll bring your son back safely" I told her and she smiled slightly.

"Make sure to bring yourself back safely too Princess." I smiled slightly and nodded.

"Hey Rin what's going on?" I turned as Kiba ran in with the girl from before.

"Mission, we have meet Shikamaru, Naruto and Choji at the gates but I still have one person to get. Are you up for it?" He nodded a grin coming to his face.

"Hell yeah, is Jazmine coming?"

"Lady Tsunade couldn't spare her from the hospital so no she can't; I'm the assigned medical ninja for this mission but Shikamaru and I are also leading it."

"You seem more of the leader type than Shikamaru."

"But he knows to stop and think while I like to act on instinct. So he's a good counterpart now c'mon we still have one more stop." He nodded and with a wave to his mother and probably sister we took off out the door.

"So what is this about?" 

"Sasuke"

I turned when I heard footsteps and had to smile slightly as Rin came up with Neji, Kiba and Lee. I knew I had to leave it to her; when it came to individual ninja and their strengths then she knew who to bring together.

"Alright now that the others are here let's go, everyone follow me!" I sighed; barely the beginning of the mission and Naruto was already getting on my nerves.

"Hey Naruto, I know it's a drag and all but Rin and I are the leaders of this platoon." I noticed Naruto's eyes widen slightly.

"Rin shouldn't be going..."

"Naruto" I warned motioning towards Rin who was glaring hard the ground. He sighed then.

"Well at least we have someone more reliable than you look Shikamaru." I sighed. Rin had one purpose and one goal and that was to reach Sasuke.

"What's with you acting all in charge all of a sudden Naruto? I mean taking orders from someone as Lazy as Shikamaru doesnt sound to promising to me either but c'mon."

"But none of you get to decide who's the leader here, since Shikamaru's the only one who is a chunin."

"Rin's a chunin to and she has more mission experience as a leader!"

"Which is exactly why we are both leading this mission" Rin stated turning to us her eyes hard and focused.

"Look we're wasting enough time and if you can't follow Shikamaru's lead or mine then we don't need you here. This is a mission, we are ninja let's act like it shall we?" They remained silent until Neji stepped up.
