❤ CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO: DEAR DIARY ❤

LOKI'S POV

I found Sif in the living room,dressed in her armor once again."Are you done saying your goodbyes?"She asked,arms folded over her chest.

"You aren't really going to kill her,are you?"

I didn't even know why I was asking.Sif was thorough when it came to her job. She always completed all her missions.

"You know I have to." She told me. I nodded in understanding. If she did not do as told,my father would surely see to it that she suffered the consequences.

She picked up a sword and walked past me and went upstairs. I paced around,trying to think of something. I simply could not let her or anyone harm Megan. She was mine.

I followed her upstairs,only to find her running out of my room."She escaped!" She exclaimed,running past me and down the stairs again. I ran to my room and looked out the window.I saw Megan limping away in the bushes toward the pavement. Sif had tried to spear her with her sword,but had clearly missed by a few inches.

I used magic to dress fully in my Asgardian regalia once again,sceptre in hand. I felt good wearing my armor once again. I felt powerful and in control once again.

Yes,the god of mischief was back.

DANIEL'S POV

I was reading a comic book in my room when Sheryl walked in,pouting."Danny," she called me softly,and I lowered my comic from my face.I immediately went "Aaaaaw" when I saw her. She looked so cute when she pouted."What is it,Sheryl?" I asked,sitting straight on my bed and lowering the volume of the music blasting from my phone.She slowly walked up to me."Annie is not home,and she promised me she would play with me." She explained.

"Oh,okay,"I said,"let's go to your room then.I'll play with you." I offered,only to have her wail "no!" I frowned in confusion."why,what's wrong? Don't you want to play with me?" I asked,feigning a hurt look.She shook her head furiously."it's not that." She said."I don't want to play in my room,or with my dolls."

"Then what?"

"Annie promised me we would play dress up. With her big girl make up and dresses."

"Oh."I nodded."but won't she get mad if we go to her room without her permission.?"

A mischievous grin crossed Sheryl's face as she took me by the hand and started pulling me out of my room."No,she won't. I'm too cute." She giggled.

She half-walked,half-dragged me to Annie's room and turned the knob to push the door open. She immediately ran to her dressing mirror which was littered with all the girly junk you could think of."Sit on the bed while I pick out the best stuff." She instructed,and I obliged,only to find myself sitted on something hard.

I got up and checked,and I saw that it was Annie's diary.I knew I should not even dare look inside it,but the urge was too strong.I wondered what secrets my sister had,what embarrassing stuff she kept hidden. And the universe had placed the solution right in my hands..or butt..

Anyway,the point is,I simply could not pass up this opportunity. I opened the book and started reading through the pages.

Dear diary,
Today I had an awesome day.Meg and I hung out at Lizzie's work place and she totally let us eat everything for free..

Boring,I thought as I skipped through the pages.Where were all the juicy stories? About the crushes,the pimples and epic fails? That's what I wanted.

Dear diary,
Diego totally checked me out today! It was for like 3 seconds but I know it meant something. Meg saw it too. I'm not so into him though,even though he's hot.I like somebody else..

Yes! I cheered to myself.I kicked my shoes off and crossed them under me,cosying myself to read more. This sounded interesting.

..He's not exactly the jock type but he's pretty fit and I think he's kinda cute.he's nice and lots of people like him.I know he sounds like the perfect guy,but I can't really be with him. its kinda..forbidden.

He has a girlfriend.Sophia. she's like the queen bee of our high school. And also,he and I are cool friends,but the problem is,he only sees me as a sister. *sigh* that ruins everything,right? Being stuck in the friend zone totally sucks!

I know by now you're wondering who I'm talking about,dear diary. Yep,you guessed it. I'm talking about none other than Harry.My brother's stupid best friend. I know it sounds crazy,and it IS crazy,but what else can i do,diary?? I'm head over heels for that goofball!

WHAT?!?!

I put the book down,my mouth hanging open. I wished I hadn't read what I had just read. Was this some kind of sick joke? Annie was in love with Harry? Whoa. I couldn't believe it,I just couldn't."Danny,are you OK?" Sheryl asked worriedly,looking at me through the mirror.I looked back at her and did not answer. I was too stunned to speak.
