❤ CHAPTER FORTY-THREE: THE RESCUE ❤

LOKI'S POV

"where are your friends?" I asked Tony as we made our way through the massive crowd. The entire place reeked of sweat,alcohol,drugs and sex. It was despicable. If it wasn't for Megan,never in my life would I have dared come to such a demeaning place.

"Hey, Loki. Meet Gloria." Tony turned to me,pushing one of the whores in the club my way."Hot,isn't she?" He winked at me.

"You are quite handsome." The whore purred in my ear.

I pushed her away immediately."Get away from me,you swine!" I cringed,then glared at Tony."No more introductions!" I snapped at him.

"Okay,okay,fine." He said,lifting his hands up in surrender."How about a drink then,before we go?" He offered.

"No." I instantly declined."Let's just go where the others are. I don't like it down here."

"Fine." He pouted."I thought you said you were a party animal." He added with a sigh.

"I lied." I answered bluntly."Now let's go."

He led me to a staircase,and as we walked up,we bumped into another whore who tried to kiss my neck,and I accidentally banged her head against the wall trying to get away from her.

"Dude,that was brutal." Tony shook his head as we walked up the last steps."She hit her head pretty hard."

"Not my fault." I simply replied. We finally came to a long dimly lit corridor,filled with doors on either side,and when I looked around I did not like what I saw.

At the end of the hall stood Diego,my nemesis. He was staring down at what appeared to be broken glass and spilled drink. He seemed quite aloof,but then he raised his head and his expression darkened when he saw me. My eyes turned fiery green and my blood boiled with rage when we locked gazes. There and then I wanted to jump on him and kill him with my bare hands.

He was the first one to speak."Loki. What are you doing here?" He said.

"I could ask you the same thing,Diego." I replied. " What are you doing out here on a school night? This is no place for a student,now is it? Or is this where you come to do your homework nowadays?" I chuckled darkly.

He remained silent and tilted his head upwards,his jaw clenching."What the fuck are you wearing?" He asked,gesturing at my direction with his nose."Were you at some loser costume party?" He laughed.

"Do not mock me." I hissed,tightening my grip on the sceptre. And just then,an ear-piercing scream,coming from one of the rooms, filled the entire place,successfully making all of us jump.

"Megan!" I gasped,immediately recognizing who the scream belonged to. I was suddenly gripped with anxiety,and even without stopping to think,I raised my sceptre at Diego and blasted him right through a wall.

Tony fled back downstairs.

"What did you do to her?!" I shouted,running towards the direction of the scream. Right where Diego stood before,one of the rooms was left ajar. When I walked inside I was deeply infuriated and appalled by the sight before me.

Those two imbeciles,Josh and Aaron,had stripped Megan naked and were trying to force themselves on her while their accomplice Sharon took a video on her phone.

"You bastards! Unhand her!" I yelled,grabbing both of them by their shirts. Josh freed himself and stupidly tried to throw a punch at me but,lucky for me, my reflexes were quicker than his. I ducked and swung back, landing a punch square on his jawline. His friend Aaron tried to attack me from behind, but I spun around and smacked him with the sceptre, sending him flying out of the room. The little whore Sharon ,who had stayed frozen, staring in awe this whole time, suddenly flinched,then made a dash for the door. I grabbed her before she could run past me. "You had a hand in this. You won't go unpunished." I told her.
